Now that we are withdrawing, we are creating the potential to rekindle the war.
Lieberman wrote a letter to Biden in June asking him not to withdraw. He said Biden knew he was giving up a base to fight terror, but didn't feel like he had any option but to withdraw anyway. Interesting TV interview.
He also said that the date we set as a target or goal, became an ultimatum by the Taliban. We asked for more time, and the Taliban said no, so we are now trying to meet their deadline (not ours), which he said was perplexing for a superpower to do.
that consciously leaving Americans behind while giving the Taliban a list of them should be enough of a reason.

You guys are the bestest. I missed reading your insanity when you were on hiatus.
And since impeachment and 25th amendment processes are political, we're good there as well. Good, in this context, by the way, means "not happening".
if he does resign because the next in line will be the same, but I believe that if Obama tells his allies that Joe is done, then Joe is done. Obama's CIA director and Ambassador to Afghanistan have already sounded off, in addition to the Senate Foreign Affairs head. There are cracks in the wall already. If momentum builds against him from his own party then he's in trouble.
Think of it this way: we always say that the Democrats usually vote en masse while Republicans have open disputes. If some Democrats break from Biden then that is a significant development.
It was better to have them attacking our trained military rather than U.S. civilians about their daily business. I’d prefer no one was under attack.
Afghanistan is unwinnable. I’m fine with a responsible decision to leave. This was far from that….
Provisions and precautions needed to be made. Doing this now with an open Southern border is irresponsible and absurd.
Biden is too old and tired to do the job he has property.
America’s best have already paid the price…and I mourn for them and pray for them first…lest anyone question that.
Biden being held to 8/31 and acquiescing to that disgusts me.
I am certain those left behind will endure unspeakable terror…

Guerilla/terrorist threats.
I posted something years ago about how the terrorists were winning after we waged conventional warfare into Afgh and Iraq. We spent a shit load of money, lost almost 2x as many lives as 9/11, and in the case of Afgh specifically, the terrorists are now stronger. The case could also be made for ISIS. No idea what we are doing, but whatever it is, it's pretty obvious politics and politicians are making it worse.
Have heard that at least twice in recent days.

Believe we have had those capabilities since Joe was in high school.
On July 8th, Biden had not the slightest idea what he was taking about. Why that is acceptable to anyone is a mystery…
