How could the U.S. players and coaches not be distracted by DJT's improper meddling with
FIFA rules...and the furor it has generated? Not easy to focus only on playing strategy and their opponent, like every other team does. Plus, Trump's arrangement with the head of FIFA to get our best scorer re-instated has to fire up the Belgian team...a double whammy against us. Had he kept is nose out of it, we would have then been the injured party and be fired up to fight back against FIFA VAR's poor decision on the Red Card.
