I spoke to someone in the corporate Allstate world, and they told me they're already planning for the post-independent driver world.
I know commercial trucking and livery is already trending towards this new world, but I never expected it to arrive while I was still around (30- 50 yrs). I suppose it would be nice in my senior years, when the DMV and insurance companies drive you out of your car, but never before that.

Possibly but only on certain routes. I think there will remain conditions or routes they cant navigate at least within my lifetime.
Of course not. I would never drive one and there will always be a market for people who don't want one.
