I suspect you have not read the act. It is actually quite reasonable. The only reason to oppose it is if you think a large proportion of your voters are somehow exceedingly stupid, or lazy, or apathetic, or a combination thereof. Not sure why we would want the exceedingly stupid, uninformed and apathetic to be voting. Why would you want them to vote?

It used to be that Democrats thought African-Americans were too stupid to get IDs. Have you finally changed your minds on that? If so, I'm glad you have come around to the Republican viewpoint on this.
