Now he has quickly taken down his false claim on his websites.
He even claimed on his Linked In account that he was a “physician and epidemiologist”. (Perhaps Ty’s nephews that he conveniently consults at dinner dates?)
They have to lie to sell their policies, and they do.

Here's El-Sayed's Wiki Bio...graduated from Michigan with Highest Distinction and gave the
Commencement Speech...got into UM's Med School for 2 yrs and was given a Rhodes Scholarship to Oxford, before leaving he had already led a student mission to Peru to set up local free clinics there...at Oxford he earned a PhD in Public Health...then he completed his M.D. at Columbia (a Top Tier Med School). While he didn't pursue a Medical License doing Clinical Work, he pursued Public Health (Epidemiology). That's a CV that even Baron would/should be proud of...but somehow feels he's entitled to throw stones...while embracing a Convicted Felon, Rapist, Fraud, Compulsive Liar, Insurrectionist...and the list goes on...

While changing the SCOTUS and Electoral College are worthy considerations given our recent
experiences, they are unlikely...however, I think that legislation to reign in the abuses sown by "Citizens United" is a Must.
Conservatives need to...and some are...take a hard look at what Trump is doing to this country...and its Constitution...that's the "Clear and Present Danger". Having a few DSA Mayors, Reps and Senators isn't going to cause the kind of problems we're facing...Let's see how those DSA candidates do this Fall, and if elected, how they perform in office.

As for myself, I too favor policies that focus on the 90+% of Americans in ways that are fiscally sound. The current situation with "Trumpism" and the hard core GOPers is accelerating our Debt Burden while doing absolutely nothing for anyone but billionaires...and even they will suffer once their bubble pops.
As history shows us...i.e. the Great Depression of the 30's...and the Great Recession of the early 2000's...it's the Democrats who have to come through....put out the fire and try to build a saner economy. You must pass separate licensing exams + at least an internship to call yourself a physician.
Real doctors these days do more than an internship year - they receive further education for years in residency training as well . The guys that pass there licensing exam AND a year of internship are not hired by hospital systems since they are not really functional doctors even then.
