I live in a suburban area in a deep blue state. I have not seen a single yard sign yard on presidential election either this year. There are some yard signs on local election. There is a huge Trump sign (about 10x10 ft) on an empty lot 3-4 miles away from my neighborhood. But I think it was put there during the primary. It has no Pence's name on it.
Whole lot of stickers, almost exclusively Trump. I've seen Gary Johnson about as much as I've seen Hillary Clinton.
Many of the Trump signs looked homemade.
But those are rural voters, so they don't count (at least, not in Illinois).
There are 2-3 times as many yard signs in my neighborhood for an average midterm election than there are this election. Most of the yard signs are for local candidates (interestingly, none of the signs identify the candidate's party affiliation).
Last week we drove to the East Coast to visit family. I counted five bumper stickers (four Trump, one HRC) on the entire 650-mile trip.

A text or tweet gets to one's audience more efficiently than a lawn sign or bumper sticker.
Plus, I would never live it down if one of you guys drove by my house, and outed me as a Trump supporter.

He woke up with those on his lawn. Or came home from a 2-week vacation, and saw that they were there the whole time....
