In 1961, Roger Maris broke Babe Ruth's single season home run record to record a remarkable 61 HRs, a figure that baseball purists still recognize as the single season record. How many times was he intentionally walked that season?
Zero
That's what happens when you have Mickey Mantle batting behind you.

Babe Ruth obviously the greatest of all time. The best I saw over a 4 year period was Mickey Mantle over an 8 year period was Willie Mays. Those old ball parks were not small parks either. Clemente had to deal with a huge field in Pittsburgh. Candlestick was a tough park to hit them out and Deron Johnson once said about Mantle that if he played in Wrigley Field he would have hit 80 homers a year. Yanke Stadium power alleys and center field were huuuge. How bad a football season is it if I am taling about baseball? Oh yeah your namesake Hank Aaron wasn't bad wither although he played in a band box and his numbers came over a ton of time and with the DH in effect later in his career.

sadly. Loved the double-header.
Do think they could and should go back to 154.
start season after April 15, no snow outs that way.
...unless there are broadly expanded playoffs that pay off revenue wise.
