as required by law.
…and the Dems on the Intel committee choose to focus on why Nunes released info to public rather than the info itself.
Obama has much explaining to do. I'm sure he will hide behind his minions, but Trump has been vindicated wrt his tweet.
This is all about politics at this point- nothing more. As such, the investigations into Trump/Russia, etc. now becomes meaningless- also just politics.
Hopefully the GOP opens a competing investigation into Obama's/Jarret's activities. It will all end up becoming so much noise that no one will care anymore about any of it.
Trump won't be able to bring Obama to justice, but he can at least protect himself while carrying out his agenda.
Combine this with London Terror attack by Radical islamic Terrorist, the illegal immigrant rape of a 14 yo in a Maryland HS just as Md moves to become first "sanctuary state", and tomorrow with passage of healthcare (if it squeaks through), and the fabulous performance of Gorsuch at SCOTUS hearings….
….epically horrible day for the Left.

Trump praying most certainly makes Conor uncomfortable as it does the rest of the left. It's one of the big reasons their party lost it's connection to the midwest.

…..like happened in London.
You owe Trump an apology too. He may have acted before he could prove it, but as the truth starts to come out, we can see that the Obama admin surveilled the Trump transition team. I don't trust Obama's motives. Critically, Nunes explained that there was no link at all to Russia in these surveillances which was the only plausible excuse Obama had for doing it.
Then it would've been perfect.
Maybe he gets off like Hills. But it's serious shit.
None of what Nunes found in any way vindicates Trumps claim. Even Nunes called it incidental.
The dam is starting to burst Baron dear. His campaign manager was paid 10 million by an oligarch to promote Putin's agenda. They will pin it at least as far as Manafort, Flynn, and Stone. All of them knew and colluded in the release of the hacked emails.
Let's assume you don't understand what is happening here, rather than being deliberately obtuse.
There may indeed be recordings of Trump transition team members. That is what the hubbub is about.
But those recordings are the result of the standard practice of surveilling of foreign diplomats or intel agents. If American citizens are overheard talking to, say, Russians, then it is called "incidental collection." The FBI or NSA then goes to a FISA court with probable cause to investigate an American citizen. Which apparently happened.
Trump accused Obama of surveilling him directly. Which would be illegal. Which never happened.
This really shouldn't be too hard to understand.
Right?
We don't know what the info is. But it is disturbing that so many people will refuse to believe whatever it turns out to be, on the right or left, depending on how it shakes out. That's already Trump's legacy - wreckage regarding the credibility of the intel community, the press and the presidency itself.
is illegal. It's about LEAKING, LEAKING, LEAKING.
Trump's counter-attack playbook is, ok, you kept leaking info about me/my team from legally-recoded classified intelligence, I'm going to claim you wiretapped me. It's your leaking that makes legal recording look like illegal, politically-targeted activity. The goal of Trump is about stopping leaking from deep state. This is the only way that he can self-defend. If there is no leaking, let IC do their job, everything will be fine. What has happened is your side tried to get the upper hand by using leaked info from unnamed officials but don't let Trump claim he/his team were wiretapped.
You can be disturbed by the pace of the leading AND think that Team Trump is bringing about a major, potentially catastrophic constitutional crisis with its collusion and stonewalling.
You seem bothered only by the first part.
Nunes - and definitely his trans team.
So, what other governments were they supposedly investigating that resulted in "incidental intel collection" against Trump folks and why no mention before now?
Why were names of Trump people not redacted & illegally spread in these "incidental intel collections"? We know Obama changed the law to spread this info throughout the govt IC committee (I would argue so that it could be leaked to presumably undermine Trump's presidency).
Why did Obama so conveniently do this?
(no message)
…as head of the intel committee he was invited to IC to review evidence personally.
The Dems on the committee are upset that he went public with info, but the alternative was to keep info quiet while months or years of investigation go on - all the while the incessant selective MSM leaks erode Trump's presidency. Nunes chose to go public with the info to counter this.

"no". I am not familiar with the powers of the chief of the Intel committee. I do know that the president can declassify anything he wants (as Chris has frequently used to justify potential Obama actions). Perhaps also that he was vague enough to avoid a violation.
I have a hard time believing that Nunes wants to go to jail, so I am highly doubtful he leaked illegally, but regardless this harkens back to something I have been saying all along…..
…..we (conservatives) are no longer playing roll over like McCain would. We are watching your behavior on the left, and we are learning to play your own game. You find a way to leak legally, we find a way to leak info legally.
I absolutely believe Nunes released this info for political reasons.
I've listened to the Dems and R's on this intel committee, and it's a joke to pretend the whole thing isn't political. Same thing with the SCOTUS.
You liberals laid out the ground rules, but now we conservatives are going to play by your rules.
Just wait until you finally get another Dem into the WH. There will be as many land mines waiting for you as as you left for us.
The goal is now to RESIST the other side no matter what. this will lead to paralysis in general in DC, and hopefully this will turn out to be good because it is what the reality is now.

as campaign manager for the Orangetan? That would be a leetle problem for Donnie.

But of course that wouldn't concern a patriotic bot like you,
…so Manafort told the Russians to leak the info (ignoring that the Russians would have had enough reason to do it on their own since Comey testified he knows that Putin hates Hillary).
If Trump knew nothing about it, why would you blame him? Trump fired Manafort long before the election or the leaks which is really all you could expect from him. If he hired him & realized he didn't trust or like him, what else could he do but fire him?
And at the end of the day, the Wikileaks info was also true - not manufactured. The voters made decisions based on their own interpretation of the candidates.
The Dems enjoyed a virtual insurmountable unfair advantage of the MSM who selectively reported stories and withheld the Access Hollywood Tape for it's October Surprise.
The Wikileaks merely countered this with a different October Surprise. Both were true. The voters made their own decision.
It is spurious to think the Russians "influenced the election" when they actually enlightened us.
You guys are merely whining that you didn't get your usual unfair advantage, and you want to blame Trump when you admit that you think that he didn't know about it.
I never said Trump was involved or knew. I don't think he did.
I think his campaign was up to its eyeballs in collusion with the Russians over the release of the hacked e mails. That needs to be revealed and punished.
Flynn, Manafort, Stone, Page, dirty tricksters, liars and traitors.
January that Russia was behind the leaked emails? Strict proof demanded then, yes?
There is no evidence and in fact nothing but denials from Comey and Rogers of direct surveillance. Nunes called it incidental. Does that mean anything to you?
