A low life Anti-American hypocrite if he filibusters Gorsuch? Would that true statement be considered divisive and politically incorrect?
This way he can appease his hysterical base and at same time save the filibuster.

What does that make Mitch McConnell and the rest of the GOP?
I can't wait for your answer.

I will assume they're all "Anti-American" in CC"s book too.

In the end, had it been Romney's choice, I think they probably would have tried to leverage a moderate selection....not block it entirely. Blocking it entirely wouldn't play as well on the left as it seemed to on the right.
...and 2 on Dems are feeling pressure to block it based on the Garland incident.
Ironic thing is that if this was "Garland's seat" and he deserved a vote, Hilary would not commit to renominating him, and all indications were she would have been looking for someone more liberal. By the way Garland is a very good judge and pretty middle of the road. He wasn't a bad choice.
On the whole pretty much every liberal thinks Garland should have gotten a hearing, even if Hillary won.
If Hills wins, they would have had a much more liberal choice shoved down their throats.
...Trump was elected. :-)

'moderate" are useless. He is simply a candidate who the Left disagrees with.
...and was never the majority leader. Like I said, if roles were flipped I think some Dems (like Biden) would have tried to block Romney's nominee....I think enough would have caved though to public pressure that Romney's nominee would have at least gotten a hearing.

It's hard to believe that they would've done so on a SCt judge.
CC is calling someone Anti-American for wanting to pull a similar stunt his guys pulled against the last president.
