I found out today, albeit late on the trigger, that the fascists and weak kneed of Notre Dame admins have won and the president will not speak, a tradition for newly elected presidents for many terms. 8 years ago we had a big-time abortion on demand president speak, and the audience was respectful. Yes, there were protestors, but free speech still won. I prayed that i got the wrong info.
I have now made the Boys' and Girls' Clubs of the New England area the beneficiary of the significant check I send to Notre dame each year. Life has been good to me and i remember meeting Father Hesburgh when i was a 23 year old in Jan. of 1966, wounded in both body and spirit. He knew the pastor that saved my life as a child in Philadelphia/Prospect Park that ND Law was for me. I got to walk with him in '68 as students were assailing the administration building. He asked me, with my background, how I would handle them. After i shared my thoughts, he laughed and said to me..."That might not go over too well." He was such a winner. Notre Dame has none now.
One can sight that D. Trump is a jerk and disdain his views. One can also see how he is a man of unequaled energy and has met with more diverse groups and done more work in his 50+ days than any president on record. In November, America spoke. He loves America and will fight for the survival of Western Civilization.......on which the clock is ticking.
I am calling Liberty University tomorrow to see if my wife and i can be there for graduation. I will gladly pay my way and help a university with gumption.

Pence is the speaker. It is unclear whether Trump was invited and declined or was not invited. Which do you think it was?
One of many stupid things about his post.
