Not surprising. The little weasels like Milley and his assistant McConville pretended to be loyal to Trump's face, but then were working to undercut him behind his back. Interestingly, Trump never did any of the things they expected him to do, but this didn't assuage their TDS.
Milley went beyond his scope of power regularly, and he ultimately sided with the Chinese because of his TDS. He was a liberal seething over Trump's election, and he worked regularly to undermine his presidency.
I don't expect the TDS crowd here to care....you've already embraced the concept of insubordination from the military when they don't agree politically. Heck, you've already embraced China over your own country.
But i do post this for the general board to see the big picture of what happened. This is yet another Deep State effort against Trump, and we are supposed to believe that these similar behaviors by key individuals across multiple agencies was random rather than organized by a very powerful puppetmaster. We are also supposed to accept that increasingly senile old Joe Biden is in full command of his presidency, and that he doesn't have the handlers that he himself refers to on multiple occasions. We are supposed to look past the obvious and not wonder who might actually be calling the shots.
If such undermining occurred nonrandomly, who would have the influence and power to pull this off? Who would be so petty in nature and overzealous in politically religious fervor? It seems like such a person would be in a place of great power for many years, and that he would have at least a few months to prepare before Trump took office. Hmmm.

...the notion that the CJCS "sided with China" or that he pretended to be "loyal to Trump" (as if that is his job)? I'll go with the former.
Honorable mention is the idea that a "former assistant secretary of the Army for Manpower and Reserve Affairs under the Trump administration" is a "longtime military associate" of Milley, rather than what he was: A political appointee.
Let us know when your sources find out who is "calling the shots," Baron.
And you never admitted being wrong about that or the many other things.
My post specifically noted that it was not directed toward you and the TFS crowd. But your TDS compels you to defend, doesnt it?
All of these incidents of Deep State betrayal are separate, right? Only a crazy person would wonder about an organized effort by the bitter outgoing POTUS trying to protect his legacy.
Or maybe he will adopt a 1970's definition of "wire tap" and say that there was no wire tapping because an actual wire was not tapped because no one put a metal clip on a POTS telephone line like they would have had to do in the 1970's.
Next he'll elaborate on the difference between "collusion" and "conspiracy" (the former initially treated like a crime, but later acted like they never intended a crime when no charges made, but then later acted like a crime again...and so on with shifting meanings of words).
We just don't understand nuance like he does. Of course, in his mind, "nuance" is defined as "a cynical political tool and communication technique using secret definitions to advance a political cause by misleading people." We later find out that these secret definitions are known by all true experts, but the definitions are only revealed to the common man when the experts are caught misleading people. Kind of like a statement depending on "what the definition of 'is' is"...or "sexual relations" not including something everyone assumed was included when the sentence was spoken (e.g., oral sex).

Who do you suppose chose that approach if not the leader of your party?
Your ignorance is self inflicted. Do not insult others who do not make the same choice.
General Milley have for 'going rogue' if this was all about the politics of some imaginary "Deep State"?...they had already won...just needed to make sure an Uber driver was available for Donald and Melania on Jan. 20th.
Face up to it...unlike other Presidents, who when they've lost an election, simply pack their bags and find something else to do, like plan a library, or build homes for the disadvantaged, or perhaps even paint or play golf...Donald Trump, being the epitome of a malignant narcissist, and having nowhere else to go (his business 'empire' is deeply in the red and facing enormous debt repayments, plus he's also facing multiple civil and criminal trials), is literally terrified of what his future has in store...so, having zero concern for anyone else's well-being (again, his malignant narcissism), while still in office he was a clear and present threat to create a military crisis that might allow him (in his mind) to remain in the WH and never have to confront reality...hence the concern of General Milley (and Mark Esper...and Bill Barr...and a lot of others in D.C.) after the attempted coup on Jan. 6th...which, btw, you sort of 'glossed over' in your "analysis" of what's transpired.
Bottom line...no possible rationale for Gen. Milley to call the Chinese just to get one more 'dig' in at Donald Trump...but there is a strong rationale for a totally defeated narcissist, facing oblivion, to take extreme measures to "save" himself from ultimate Accountability.
It is a word. Apologize.
