Rarely a day goes by when some Irish Catholic isn't blowing himself and dozens of others up, driving an automobile into crowds, throwing gays and other heretics off roofs. Honestly, it gets to the point where I just see a headline about senseless violence and I instantly think, "Must be those Irish Catholics again."
Not to mention anti-abortion Christian mad bombers and shooters and such. After all, we have millions of Christians who support such terrorist act right here at home. Wait a minute...
Since the advent of Islam in the seventh century, the Caliphate has been expansionist in philosophy with a growing belief during that time in forced conversion of infidels (anybody not Muslim, especially Christians). Don't take my word for it, look up actual history for that period, especially in the 8th, 10th, and 11th centuries. Deniers of this like to start history at the time of the crusades, when some western crusaders treated middle eastern inhabitants with savagery, but keep in mind why the crusaders were there in the first place. They did not travel thousands of miles to work on their tans, the Christian population in the Middle East requested protection and the restoration of the ability to practice their faith, and the intent of the crusades was to provide same, not to conquer Islam.
Now contrast this with Ireland. In the case of Ireland, rightly or wrongly, they were the victims of expansionist colonialism from England. No condemnation here, that was just the way things were in early European history, but the two situations, aside from the violence, had very little similarity.

Always great fun...

Now, if they refuse to condemn terrorist acts, that would change. What would your judgment be if 20% of Christians said they agreed that heretics should be executed in 2017?

Using this logic, the folks who voted for Bill Clinton support sexual harassment and, possibly, sexual assault, right? There's a reason you live here when you could leave and one of these reasons is that Americans are incredibly tolerant compared with other nations.
I don't like Donald Trump. I didn't vote for Donald Trump, but one of the most profoundly disappointing things about this past election is the utter inability of the left to have any sort of reasoned, nuanced understanding of it.
while many of these folks will on one hand speak of "unconscious bias" - how our thoughts necessarily result in behaviors that conform to these unconscious biases - these same people will argue on the other hand that Muslims can believe in the truth of the Hadith, the Sunnah, the Qur'an, with all the exhortations to violence, yet this acceptance of these words as truth won't translate into violent behaviors. No, the explanation must lie elsewhere. And, besides, that, you know, "The Old Testament!"
I have no doubt that come the day that the mullahs finally have their opportunities to get their swords upon masses of Americans, the first to lose their heads won't be the fundamentalist Christians who spoke so stridently against Islam. The mullahs hate them, no doubt, but there will be a sliver of grudging respect for them. No, the first to lose their heads will be the namby-pamby leftists who tried to ingratiate themselves and projected nothing but weakness.
argument right above your posting this heap of dreck.

You're just too stupid to realize it.
and their hatred of LGBTQ, suspected female adulterers, et al...
Women must be subservient to their men. Men can have more than one wife. Men rape children and innocent goats. So much goodness!!!
I don't know that it's all that complicated. Most Muslims have darker skin than you or I and the central thesis of cultural leftists is that oppression of dark-skinned people and women explains history and inequalities. (With the "Asian exception," of course, which has proven most inconvenient to their thesis.) Cultural leftists are more or less compelled to take this stance given this sacrament of their religion. This is why you don't generally find Jews mentioned alongside other groups on their list.
