What's worse is that they are all brilliant.

“I want to make it clear, as I did in my testimony earlier, that neither of these memos in any way impinges upon the right of free speech. Senators are free to say to me whatever they want, just as parents are free to say to school boards whatever they want. And then the Federal Government is free to call them terrorists and ruin their lives. See? We’re all free.”

Either he collaborated in making the DOJ a domestic political weapon. Or, he was duped by his own administration into doing it. He should resign because of what he did, or in protest for what the White House did to him.

And those that threaten SB members or elections officials should be prosecuted.
than the 9/11 bungholes.
You have me confused with conor. There are plenty of individual nuttie lawmakers. We saw a few in action trying to embarrass Garland.
The point is despite their dumbfuckery side show there was nothing in Garland’s memo that called them terrorists. Yet the MAGA slaves keep embracing that lie as well.
the appearance of that thought. The letter from the NSBA did allude to such and Garland sends out a memo 5 days after the white house receives the letter. Garland is dancing around the questions, he knows he is dancing around the questions, because he is dancing, the senators sense the blood in the water and are attacking it. I have honestly found the exchanges quite funny. Can Cruz, Hawley, Cotton, and crew be over-the-top and jerks... yep, but Garland is giving them plenty of ammo at the same time. The appearance of politicization of the DOJ is on full display. If he was thinking of sending the memo out prior to receiving the letter from the NSBA, he should done it already; it isn't like their hasn't been ample stories in the news prior to this month that he could have used for ammunition. Sending it 5 days later was a mistake and he should have distanced his directive from the letter.
