Our midget Secretary of Transportation is talking about racist roads.
The issues are amazing too. I had never thought about it, but two of the more interesting ones (to me) are: 1. There is one road in and out to pick up containers to transport. 2. Companies reserve containers and then just leave them at the docks because it is super cheap to store them there rather than paying the high cost for shipping goods right now.
The quickest fix is to add multiple access roads to get stuff out.

It was only snarky in it's brevity. Buttigieg brings nothing to the table here. He was given the job to contribute to diversity and to drop out and provide his endorsement to help pave the way for Incompetent/Incontinent Joe.
All I've seen him do thus far is champion paternity leave and tell us the problem may last longer than we think. Is that the primary job of the Transportation Secretary?
Though the executive can do little (although they're not shy on issuing questionable XO's) he should be exhorting congress o take actions by proposing measures to facilitate shipping (i.e. restrictions of Jones Act) and reasonable adjustments to trucking rules at least on a temporary basis.
He could actually work on the problem, at least proposing some actions and let others debate the impact on "freedoms".
But you knew all that.. The answer, like at the border, isn't to throw up our hands and ignore it.
He's being paid to do a job, He does not appear up to it...and should resign in favor of someone with a modicum of actual experience in field of Transportation.
You know that, but take the shot anyway.
Every time the Admin acts you guys whine about regulation and “freedom”. When they don’t regulate those freedoms, you bitch the other way.
He thinks Joe is actually coherent and in charge.
