Juvenile. And yes the D’s have done the same. I despise almost every single member of Congress. But why do we vote these idiots as our representatives. If Gosar did the same at a US corporation he would be summarily fired.

Only two House Republicans voted for censor today.
Only ten House Republicans voted for impeachment after January 6th.
Only one Republican voted for impeachment regarding Trump's efforts to extort Ukraine, withholding military aid in exchange for a personal political favor.
Only one party has lost their moral compass ... now redirected to school library book banning.

the Dems could negotiate real issues among themselves and come to a consensus agreement (e.g. Infrastructure and BBB)...it is totally normal to have a range of opinions even within one party, but for the Dems, they don't threaten each other with "Primaries" or outright eviction, simply for their views on an issue of basic democracy...or human decency.
You should be working very hard to do what you can to fix that disaster...we need two 'sane' parties that represent ALL of America...right now we have only the Dems.
You're even dumber than I thought.
Federal buildings were attacked. People were killed. Buildings were burned. Relased convicts were running around the streets with guns, lighting police cars on fire...reveling in the anarchy. They had HD drone video of the riots. I didn't see any billboard ads for information about rioters? I didn't see any banks reporting charges to the Feds so the Feds could figure out who were at the riots. They only did that for the 1/6 stuff. Seems like you support unequal application of the law. That was my point with conor. He can't see equal application of the law. That's the point you walked into.
Nice attempt to accuse the GOP of that which your party does. Very useful, if misleading, tactic, that.

A lot of anti-trumpers in the GOP party. But, I don't know why I'm bothering. You gave an example: the primary challenges show independence in the party, and a lack of unity when it comes to control.
I suppose one could say that the AOC team is independent, but the Dem party is much more lockstep on votes than the GOP.
Of course, none of this has anything to do with my post. So, why did you post this year? I was just commenting about how Conor is so partisan he has become blind to how people perceive his posts. Then again, you should know all about that.

we'll get movement one way or the other IF we are clear about what we're saying...you'd be amazed at the degree of commonality if we use real examples and not just broad-brush assertions.
Once again...as the recent debate transpired among the Dems on first the strategy of linking the two bills together, then lowering the scope, it shows that differing views can be heard while still moving the ball forward...i.e. COMPROMISE...that's the way our system is supposed to work...sadly, the GOP right now views everything as a ZERO SUM GAME and has banned the use of the word 'compromise'...based on their treatment of Republican "dissidents" this is a spot-on assessment, and not a broad-brush accusation...not a lot of hope for them...and thus for the rest of us...at this time.
If I recall correctly she's currently eyeing Schumer. Is that not correct? But good post Ty!
bill issue.
BTW, aside from the AOC correction, do you agree that the GOP is in desperate need of an "intervention", for lack of a better word...and based on the earlier comments in this thread?
I mean no more than the Dems. Any party that counts among their members AOC, Omar Talib and the rest needn't lecture any party about the error of their ways. Not the party of 27 genders, not the party of racism as a cottage industry. There's enough there to keep Dems busy for a LONG time. But as I've noted with other libs on zee board introspection is not your bag.
All good.
Did you find a good brine recipe for your bird this year? I swear by a good brine for poultry and pork. Makes a world of difference.
that laudable objective is their focus...as opposed to merely being servants of a deeply flawed and totally narcissistic "Loser" who can't find anything else to do with his life after being beaten in a free and fair election...other than trying to stay out of prison, that is...to me, there's a significant difference here.
We have our differences on acceptance of 'non-standard' gender issues, for sure...for me, I see real people who genuinely differ from my identify, but I want to make sure that their life experience is as pleasant and fulfilling for them as anyone else's...in no way do I want to cause them mental or physical harm...especially when they present no harm at all to me or anyone else....plus, they have incredible talents that benefit others. BTW, the tragedy of Alan Turing is never far from my mind when I think of all these LGBTQ debates.
When it comes to 'Racism', the Dems have nothing to be ashamed of...they have all the 'Cred' they need (Civil Rights Act...Voting Rights...etc) to show that they "Walk the Talk" in continuing to seek justice for people of color...as for the GOP...you're a man who's accustomed to reading...pick up a copy of "It Was All A Lie" by Stuart Stevens to see what they are all about...and why I'll never move in their direction until they 'come clean' on this issue...and a few more.
As for "Introspection", the Dems are totally transparent as to what policies they believe will benefit the American people...Sanders, Warren, AOC, Booker, Biden...and Obama...talk at length about their visions...and work together to actually PASS legislation (ACA, and Infrastructure, to name a couple)...whereas, the party of "NO GOVERNMENT" now is totally silent about ANY policy initiative and pass NOTHING...clearly they see no need for introspection...their mission is clear...just gain power and pass tax breaks for the wealthiest among them.
BTW, still mulling over some threads on cooking...you still interested?...btw, Thanksgiving is at the B&SIL's place this year...not sure what our contribution will be just yet.
Yes....LBGQT....harmless little lambs. But good for you and your understanding of non standard peoples.
Prof's opinion on how to treat "in the shadows" potential pedophiles for your reply? What makes you think that guy's thoughts are "Mainstream" and represent every single LGBTQ advocate or sympathizer?...why do you have such an obsession with this topic?...that is the real question.
Again, I gave you what I consider a clear insight into how I deal with that issue and the others you brought up....your turn to explain yourself...why the intense animus to all things "LGBTQ"?...
...and when you're done with that, let's not forget the other 'deltas' between the two parties right now.
Yes - singularly driven to destroy an American that they view as inherently racist and flawed. So good on the squad for their devotion to the cause I guess.
It is most assuredly mainstream. Just like no one wants to defund cops or pull down statues. It's behind their true intentions. Darkness often portrays itself as light. Just getting married was never going to be the end game.
Racism. See Virginia. As well as other places. You have a predetermined narrative about big mean Cons. You fashioned the victimhood thing to be anything they're against is racist. I have zero time for it and it has no meaning to anyone anymore. I know my heart and my families heart. Go shove CRT.
You're seem to be a decent bloke. But you have your mind made up. Everyone and everything isn't always a link to what this other person said about stuff....
....you ban many old books (many classics) from public schools, insert radical CRT content, and when there is pushback by the concerned parents of the children, you call them "book banners" for resisting the new radical content.
You are a threat to America, conor. (This AM, you engaged in Liberalism Rule #1 when you said this of me. It was a dead giveaway as to what you actually are).
He’s a child and bitter person.

protect and vote for their own even if they are just as bad or worse. And yeah, gerrymandering doesn’t help because they know they can get way with this shite with impunity. It’s the Neddie “I like their policies” syndrome.
