You know what's sad? This really is typical there.

What can you do about these places? Move away. As fast as you can.
Chicago was a tremendous place to visit. Take the South Shore from Indiana to Chicago and 45 minutes later the lakefront, music, eateries, museums, and sporting events were all there for the taking. It was incredible. At night, the city was lit up and it was beautiful. In the late 60s, we all used to pile in my buddies van and go to Chicago's Old Town where the hippies were. Little shops, music, and of course little restaurants. There was even a cool wax museum. It was sort of a Chicago version of Haight/Asbury. I don't blame the politicians so much. Everyone knew who they were and what they are about. The people of Cook County and Chicago voted them in anyway. They have been doing it for years and will continue to do it. All the Chicago alderman. The Cook County Prosecutor. The mayors. The Cook County Sheriffs. All voted in by the people of Chicago. This is the fault of those very people. And now the white suburban moms have joined in along with their blouse wearing husbands. Through all this, not a single word from the black pastors, blm, Northwestern University social reform organizations, Chicago media, Chicago sports media, the Arch Diocese of Chicago. Not a word. They had something to say every damn day when DJT was in office though. Nothing will change. Ever.
No black pastors. No "Rev" Jesse. No "Rev" Al. No "Father" Phleger. No blm. No social justice whites from the burbs. No "Hate Has No Home Here" social justice warriors from the burbs. No Hollywood. No Oprah. No NBA. No NFL. No Chicago media. No Chicago sports talk radio. No anybody. A few "community organizers" blabbering on in front of the cameras with family members, but even they will continue to vote like everyone else and expect a change. All these dopes wouldn't know how to make a change if the answer was six inches in front of their face.
