to his every decision. It brings to mind the Stanford psychology project made into a movie where volunteer students put up with all kinds of bullshit when all they had to do was walk out the door.
Depending on the parish you belonged to, it's kind of a Catholic thing. You get stuff, maybe millions, you love having it but in many cases really didn't do much work to get it and then there's those pesky things the church was always talking about, things like charity, Sisters of the Poor and then there's Mother Teresa with all her stuff and how the hell are we supposed to enjoy all we have when the Catholic Worker group keeps asking for things, things like food, and I realize many of these owners aren't Catholic but the psychological condition know as the "Imposter Syndrome" kicks in which really gets you going so we'd better hire some asshole who makes our like miserable so we can think how bad we've got it and all the crap we have to put up with can finally feel like we deserve all we have, damn right we do.
