It’s now ok to acknowledge Biden’s obvious dementia that you have been dutifully denying. The signal is being sent to Libs to pivot.
You guys have been farcical in your denial of the obvious up until now…..but as usual, you will now pretend that you were aware all along, and it will be as if your partisan denials never were uttered.
I link FoxNews because I will never help Dem Pravda with a link. Go read it yourself, and begin your spin.
How about, the old “the science has changed” argument. That one works anywhere, anytime.

followers on street, not the brain of D party.
The idea of a figurehead president like Biden was well calculated, fully envisioned and completely accepted early before South Carolina primary by D.
I will bring back some old stuff on this topic.
Title: Stay Alive, Joe Biden
Subtitle: Democrats need little from the front-runner beyond his corporeal presence
All D needs for their progressive agenda is an alive Joe, dementia or not doesn't matter. Actually a dementia Joe may be even better.

...either he has dropped so low in the polls that they think he is a lost cause or he (with his wife?) has strayed off of their plan and has been doing things like reinstituting student loan repayments.
This article looks to be a signal either to the base to now acknowledge the obvious and jettison him, or it is a warning to him of what they can do to him if he doesn't start following their script again.
I'm not sure which it is, but I am sure that the liberal base will do EXACTLY what they signal them to do.

voice it...shows their commitment to free speech...now contrast this with your beloved FOX channel, where first Shepard Smith and now Chris Wallace have to leave due to unbearable bias and mis-information...joined recently by Stephen Hayes and Jonah Goldberg with their outrage over Tucker Carlson's "commentaries"...don't see that happening very often at the NYT or WaPo, do you.
As for you...no bias there...right???
BTW, name some of those glorious Pro-Trump editorials/commentaries you allude to that the NYT should have published...I'm sitting down now, so go ahead ;-).

Doesn't mean he's right, but more credible than what passes for news/opinion around here.
see if he posts a link
Given their undisguised partisanship, the running of this Oped is hard to see as a mere coincidence with the timing of Student loan payment reinstatement, etc.

already gotten two major pieces of legislation passed...The American Rescue Plan, that has helped keep our economy moving ahead with declining unemployment...and the bi-partisan Infrastructure Bill, which was long overdue and will benefit the entire nation (including funding in direct support of GEN-IV Nuclear Power Systems development)...not bad, compared to what was 'produced' in the previous administration's four years.
Other 'soft' benefits from Biden's first year include the rapid availability of COVID vaccines to every American (only to be obstructed by supporters of the previous administration)...and restoration of international alliances (e.g. NATO) that allow for a solid front against Vladimir Putin...
With that sort of track record, why the urgent call for Biden to step aside?...could it be that his opponents sense he's doing too good a job and need to blow some smoke?
BTW, I know quite a few folks in their 80's and 90's that could put Trump and DeSantis to shame mentally and even physically...who you got that you would put up against Biden in 2024?...that's a valid question, given your post's subject matter .
attempt to paint him as anything but an abject failure. Yr flailing badly, quit while yr behind
Biden is competent and gonna run in 2024. The guy introduced his wife as his sister and several times on the campaign trail said he was running as a senator.
and he's done more than Trump did (positively) in four years...no need to be showing him the door.
I've already listed his accomplishments, which neither you or any others have contested...and I listed my objections to Ron DeSantis...can you defend Ron's performance as Florida's governor during this pandemic?...let's hear it...if there is any.
validate that the vast majority of Americans agree with this statement. Any links to dispute this?

Supply shortage’s and more Covid deaths under his watch than Trump even with the vaccine, Go ahead and say it. It’s the fault of of the unvaccinated. Life is so much better under Joe.

shipping, oil prices, etc. set that in motion...btw, spoke earlier today with the family economics/business PhDs...expectations are that COVID comes sufficiently under control by mid-2022, the "Demand Pull/Supply Push" inflation we're currently experiencing abates and long-term interest rates drop to 2% or slightly less...just one opinion, but an educated one at least.
As for the border issue, see the link attached with U.S. Border Patrol data from 2000 - 2020...note that Obama's #'s were better than his predecessor or successor...Dems aren't really synonymous with "Open Borders"...the most recent surge came from Haitians, by way of Chile, from where they were 'encouraged' to leave...again, not Biden's fault the U.S. was their next best choice.
Supply Shortages...see COVID (we're still waiting for delivery of some furniture that was ordered in August).
COVID Deaths...the deaths are virtually ALL among the unvaccinated...who's telling people not to get vaxxed?...not Biden...I 'Double Dare' you to prove otherwise ;-).
Stay safe over the Holidays!

apply for press secretary. You can spin it better than Jen. Stay safe.
opinions on them...if you don't agree, then state why...that's how discussions are supposed to go.
That list of yours is not exhaustive, so I accept that there could very well be areas where Joe Biden made a mistake and/or performed below expectations...right now, I feel that he should see that much more effort is placed into creating what I'll call an "Energy Policy Commission" to take the lead on transitioning the country from Fossil Fuels to Nuclear and Renewable Sources...this commission IMO should be composed of Republicans and Democrats on the political side...Private Industry representatives with knowledge of FFs and the other energy sources...and expert scientists who understand the capabilities of each technology...all led by a universally respected "Facilitator" who ensures that the process stays on course w/o rancor....my feeling is that this should have been started years ago...but...he's the guy in charge, so...let's get going.
Nothing is his fault. But you know it's hard to place too much blame on the aged.

He attended Yale University and after graduating with a B.A. magna cum laude in history, he attended Harvard Law School, graduating with a Juris Doctor cum laude.
It's amazing he managed to avoid becoming another elitist NPC.
case is Ted Kaczynski, but in regard to Ron DeSantis, his dismissal of every fundamental medical guidance during our COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in over 61,000 deaths in the state of Florida (not counting the cases, hospitalizations and deaths among "Snowbirds", which is mind-bogging in and of itself)...not a wise decision and one that the citizens there have paid dearly for...btw, it will be interesting to see what the University of Florida's investigation into the alleged destruction of COVID data turns up, including his role in the matter.
In perhaps the biggest crisis of his governorship, Ron DeSantis has been lacking in wisdom...do we really want that level of "leadership" in the White House?...compared to Biden in that challenge, he's not very bright.

B. In law. Not an attorney.
think that all of that knowledge, experience and personal interaction count for NOTHING now that he's President? He's been effusively praised by other Senators (e.g. Graham) for his ability to get bi-partisan respect...and you're telling us that he has no clue what's going on around him...seriously?
I get that the GOP needs to do all it can to denigrate their opposition...but in this issue that Baron brings up with his posting of Bret Stephens column, I'd only think Biden had lost his mind if he came out and made himself a "Lame Duck" President by agreeing with Bret's assertion...I've never taken a Poli-Sci course, but even I know that would be a truly insane move on his part ;-).

Even in his prime.
Doesn't mean he can't be effective, that's more of an age thing now.
and that's all I'm saying...I'm not trying to proclaim his candidacy for a Nobel Prize or Mensa...
Once again, I assert that in his short time as President he's done WAY more good things for the country, both domestically and internationally than his predecessor (very low bar), and continues to show the same degree of vigor and handling of challenging issues...it's the GOP's "Job" to bring down their opponent, I get that...but so far they can't find a material failure (revisit my comments on Afghanistan) and so the easy target is his age...cheap shot, but that's the way the game is played...certainly by the GOP.
Surprising.
aided us during that 20 year conflict (the safe removal of U.S. forces was never in question)...Donald Trump tried to exit before Biden took office without ANY plan to help those people...moreover, he put a halt to Special Visas that take many months to get approval...in 2017!...his (Trump's) final deal was for an exit in May...just 4 months after Biden's inauguration. That Biden was able to remove over 125,000 Afghanis by the end of August is a testament to the rallying of allies, transportation providers and U.S. bureaucratic functionaries...any honest assessment should acknowledge the incredibly bad hand that Biden was dealt...there never was a 'perfect outcome' in those cards.
If you truly want to vent frustration over the treatment of friendly Afghanis...send it all to Mar-a-Lago.

And Tyrone tries to spin it as a victory because a Democrat is the one who totally fucked it up. Funny,

Biden had little input other than signing them into law.
Of the other hand, his administration has opened the borders and shut off some pipelines and greenlighted Putin's and Xi. aggression and overseen hundreds of thousands of COVID related deaths.
As for your other points of contention...
>Our southern border was not "Opened"...instead of simply saying "NO" to every immigrant, our immigration processes and procedures were restored whereby supplicants were allowed to plead their cases for entry and be processed with as much human dignity as available...with improvement as well...BTW, "Title 42" was still enacted for those who had no pleadable case for entry. Significant efforts have also been enacted and restored to process immigrants in their home countries, along with efforts to lessen reasons for emigration from them...thus stemming some of the tide...actions that should have been done in the previous four years.
>"Shutting off pipelines"...I assume you mean 'Keystone', et al...we're transitioning away from Fossil Fuels, in case you haven't heard...get with the program...it's unavoidably contentious and challenging...staying with the "Status Quo" isn't a part of it.
>"Putin's and Xi's Aggression"...Biden is meeting with our NATO allies, which assumedly are very glad to have the U.S. back firmly in the fold, and presenting Vlad with a more united front to think about (military aid...broad sanctions...etc.)...as for Xi, my own nephew was deployed in a carrier task force that spent a lot of time in the South China Sea, plus Biden minced no words in speaking to Xi about America's intent going forward...hardly 'Kowtowing" to the CCP.
>"COVID Deaths"...surprised you even bring that up, given your oft spoken view that we should just let the pandemic "ride"...our ICUs are almost exclusively populated with unvaccinated patients...not Biden's fault after making sure that the vaccines were universally available and encouraged.
Anything else?...Voting rights, perhaps?
Not sure why he slow-rolled getting the JCPOA back up-and-running. Now it may be too late.
And a $778 billion defense budget is just ridiculous.
on the ground in Iran was always going to be problematic...a very knotty issue, for sure...fingers crossed that there's more going on with that than what's publishable right now.
On the military front, I'd like to get your thoughts on talk that's going around regarding the 're-forming' of ou. military from "counter-insurgency" to what I'll call "Nation State Conflict" readiness...and if that's real, then what effect would it have on military funding.

four years? Very, very few, yet there were many, many columnists who had them to offer. Heck, the NYT even assisted in trying to bring Trump down with reciprocation with Obama DOJ members and false stories that won themselves awards from other liberals.
Only a hyper partisan of the same persuasion could fail to see the NYT crafting of their message - it’s why you libs like to read them.
Anyways, the new message is to start acknowledging the obvious in light of the sinking D ship. I’ll watch for your backtracking (well, let’s be honest, it will be silence and withdrawal of your defense of Biden’s competency - but I’ll take note of it anyways).
