Thanksgiving at our house:
1. To "prep" a bunch of cousins + their families got together on Wednesday night and hung out at a crowded bar & grill (unmasked) for a few hours.
2. We had 55 people attend at our house. Family flew into Ohio from LA, Dallas, Boston, Atlanta and places in between.
3. Not everyone was vaccinated and not one person wore a mask. Ages were from < 1 year old to 85. The gathering lasted from noon until late in the evening.
4. We spent the next 3 days getting together with everyone at other family members houses, going out in large groups to eat, ice skate, hike, etc. Of course, Saturday night was spent watching the Notre Dame game.
Not a single person fell ill in the days and weeks after the festivities. Although, they probably had to recover from the always heated political discussions (it's a tradition).
