Well, until he graduates and gets a gig as a cable news commentator.

Not sure how big it will be.
Not sure why they picked Hitler's birthday to do it.

We'll see how much coverage it gets. Probably depends on if the Comey and Cohen stories are still generating interest.

The guy has been informed by cable news all of his life. He isn't well read. He's a B-list celebrity. He was elected president. Who are we to say "hey high school kid, you don't get a voice in political debate"? I don't agree with a lot of what this kid says, but we gave up nuance and expertise in 2016, and went for performance. Unfortunately, the average person who is going to criticize the president are just informed on these issues as he is, because they are watching the same cable programs he is. Can't complain about a novice now.
The answer to bad speech is good speech, not silencing the bad speech.
I realize that this idea was abandoned by the Left years ago. They now try to keep people from speaking on campuses, for example. But, that is the wrong approach. The kid is wrong...but he still has a right speak.
Having said that, I think schools are not the place for free speech. Any students walking out should be suspended. The courts are pretty clear that kids in school do not have unfettered free speech rights during school hours and on campus.
But, I don't think many people care anymore. The general population has a very short attention span that typically doesn't span more than a couple of weeks. Without anything new to the story and the absence of other "breaking news", it will be tuned out. People need to recognize when it's time for them to move on.
Of course, he has helped out Laura Ingraham's ratings. The clamor you hear are new advertisers lining up to grab spots on her show.
A privileged white female painting herself as a victim, demanding that other people, largely people less well off than she will be, give her stuff. Particularly, stuff they don't want to give her.
You're asking him to go away because people aren't paying attention. That seems to be in conflict with the subject of your post.
Just because I would advise him to move on doesn't mean I don't think he's entitled to his voice. He can waste his time all he wants.
