Not clear when they'd be available...but this would no doubt help the coming wave.

accepted from various testing centers. But just calling saying that you did your own test is not generally accepted as reliable (same for pregnancy tests, etc) when a medication is being prescribed. I'm sorry for stating the obvious, but a home test will end up needing confirmation, so while they can be helpful in getting the ball rolling at home, keep this in mind when considering the 3 day time frame.
however, Pfizer's product requires the regimen of 30 pills in 5 days be started within 3 days of first symptoms....since wait times for PCR tests could exceed that time frame, it would seem logical to allow home tests to be used...perhaps people could take a "Selfie" with their test result showing...the time 'metadata' on the phone could serve as "proof"...we'll see what happens.
Baron...your 'timely' postings after mine are childish...just come out of hiding and interact with a fellow poster...it's really 'Non-Threatening', so don't be afraid.
means that folks should have access to rapid testing for COVID.
Just ask Warren, Booker, the NFL, NBA & NHL.
There will be more for the rest of us.

With you asshole Libs.
prescription in your hands within 3 days of COVID symptoms onset, and for that you'll need to have your head in the game and get tested before those 3 days are up, either with a PCR test, or if approved, a home test kit you bought already in anticipation of that eventuality.
Given that you would take pills to save yourself, why not do yourself a favor and get three, free and painless (for a tough guy like you), shots?...cuts down on the odds of losing that game of "COVID Chicken" ;-).

If applied wisely.
