quarantine adjustable? Is that science or money. Assume you own a restaurant and must hold employees out but flights are cancelled and the quarantine is cut in half?
I’ll wait for your answer until hell freezes over for your answer.

Is that really hard to understand?
Do you guys have to be so aggressively stupid all the time?

Those two sentences are related.
After all of the spitballing that they have done, only a fool would fail to wonder about how far off the mark the "new" guidelines are. Remember the "6 foot rule"?
All that the CDC would have to say is, "we can't be sure, so these are our best estimates for now". But they won't do it. The leaders of this clown show instead pretend that all of their recommendations are definitive, everytime, even when they contradict themselves only a short time later.
Only a moron would continue to unquestionably believe edicts coming from a source that flip flops so regularly. That would be you, but you do so because the persons giving you the advice espouse your politics.
You've been wrong on every one of them...whenever you summon the courage, engage with me and I'll point out why on each of those items.
As for the CDC...and Dr. Fauci, who you somehow overlooked...they've been dealing with a "Novel" Coronavirus since Day 1...and one that has mutated significantly over the last two years...such changes and acquired knowledge begets changes in guidelines...you'd think someone with your background would instinctively get that...but, alas, no such luck.
Thank heaven you aren't in a position of responsibility in the CDC.

Maybe that helps.
Probably not, though.
the science says the isolation period can be shorter. The same people who supported he who said it would just magically disappear. Sigh.{
political one. Thus, the timing.
I'm not disputing the recommendation. I think this could have been done a while ago. The timing to do it now is based on what the needs are more than "science".
One thing I've learned is extremely smart people, as I admit these scientists are, are often lacking a reasoning. logic and common sense gene. It's like they're so intelligent all of it went into being able to learn stuff without being able to know how to use their knowledge.
How about finding some peer reviewed study from a renowned publication to back you up...otherwise, thanks for nothing.
“ a decision they said was driven by a growing body of research about when people are most infectious.”
Pardon me if I trust them over people who go with their gut, epidemiology-wise.
Their uneducated gut.
research? Elitist.
entire picture. The economy, mental health, schools, jobs, etc. so we are suppose to follow their claims in locksteps and the world around us is falling apart. It’s amazing.

“The CDC said the change was informed by science demonstrating that the majority of Covid-19 transmission occurs early in the course of illness, generally in one to two days before the onset of symptoms and two to three days after.”

You’re a fraud. Cancelled flights harm to the economy, pissed off voters and the rules change. If you don’t accept that you are a dye in the wool liberal. Stop hiding behind you conservative principals. You’re a fraud.
I don’t necessary disagree with their change because no one and I believe knows shit. But that fact that you constantly defend them reveals yourself. Come out out the closet.
The first article was days ago before the cancellations claiming the recent research.
Just stop with the BS.
You would be the first in line to whine about it if they didn’t change in light of what’s now known.
P.S. When it is it a conservative principle not to lighten a lockdown restriction or mandate? Fool.

likely we'll sell some early in the new year.
gain in. Typically pushing the gain forward is good, but with the chance rates will be higher in '22 the option is nice.
First
The Fed and Congress has pumped almost $8 trillion into this market. So corporations and individuals are flushed with cash.
Second
Almost 40% of the rally has come from tech stocks
Third
The two year urge to spend caused a surge in retail sales which will fall off a cliff after the holidays.
Fourth
The Fed will begin tightening all of 2022 that will cause tight money and interest rates to rise.
Fifth
Energy prices will rise better than 29% putting more pressure on inflation that will affect everything in the global economy.
Finally we are going into an election year that will create a lot of uncertainty that should cause the economy to slow.
I would pull most of my equity out of the market out I see at least a 15% decline.
But what do I know. These guys on this board are smarter than me.
The 8 trillion being pumped in hasn't been pumped in is going to continue for a while since much of it hasn't yet been done. Your prediction seems likely, but it seems like the run may last a bit longer first.....but who knows?
are unlikely to "collapse" the market but easily could lead to stocks backing off 10 to 20 percent.
Inflation will support real estate against the initial interest rate headwinds.
Energy should continue its ascent, especially as the pandemic becomes normalized.
Biggest Beta and headline risks will be on Crypto trades imo.
