Call me a doubting Thomas but D’s it seems, as a group are ultimately lazy. They just don’t get up of the couch and vote.
This is why our national HC system is awful.
Midterms are won by getting the base out, not by appealing to the moderates, who are never as motivated to vote. This is why, for instance, Beto has been running as a solid liberal, not a moderate.

I think Texas is the bellwether. If Cruz really is in trouble, then the Senate is at risk for the GOP.
But it just seems unlikely.
