The media has been calling for Kavanaugh to recuse himself from all cases pushed by the Dem Party agenda if he reaches the bench because of his comments that the attack against him was orchestrated by them.
At the same time, RBG has made unbelievably negative comments about Donald Trump but has not been asked to recuse herself on the mirror side of this.
Kagan also did not recuse herself (as she normally had been doing on other lesser cases where she had prior involvement) on the HCR decision despite her previous political connection to the bill.
It does not appear that a SCOTUS can be either coerced into recusal nor punished if they fail to do so as a lower court judge can be. Is this the interpretation of the rest of the board here as well?
