If you are ready to limit the power of the executive, and restore federalism, and checks and balances, and maybe eliminate the executive order, and roll back regulations, you will find a lot of allies on the Right. That is the constitutional republic our Founders envisioned.
But, if you are just going to propose to change our institutions, like the Electoral College, to ensure you never lose again, we will know you do not actually like our institutions, and that still think that the Constitution is a living, breathing, malleable document...and you just need to work harder to never lose. That, is not the constitutional republic our Founders envisioned.
