Instead, Trump constructs a wall of lies to protect himself....and his allies and useful idiots in the party of "family values" let him get away with anything at all.

Things have changed.
The useful idiots are fully engaged with his words and actions and keeping him afloat.
All others wouldn't have been elected or even nominated.
Sad.
Obama survived being fined for campaign finance violations and Bill Clinton survived inappropriately marinating his cigars in the Oval Office so it won't be a surprise that this story won't move the needle on Trump.
He never portrayed himself as a man of high moral character and no one ever mistook him for one. This latest revelation means he is exactly who we thought he was.
problem. We have an independent FEC in this country whose job is enforcing campaign finance law and FEC didn't say Trump's payment is an violation of campaign finance law. We also have a bunch of politically motivated prosecutors who want to charge president on the ground of violation of campaign finance law. The question is whether Trump would have made this payment even if he had not been a presidential candidate. The answer is an easy Yes. Just like many celebrities (e.g. Christian Coronado...) do same thing. Cohen was hired years before Trump started his presidential campaign to handle this kind of thing. So, the payments to porn stars clearly has personal purpose. If it's for personal reason, it's not an violation of campaign finance law. That's perhaps the reason why FEC doesn't think it's an violation of law.
Trump is accused of being personally involved in a fraudulent scheme.
Obama's campaign didn’t timely report what generally were a whole bunch of small contributions. Big difference in personal involvement.

actually support Trump's argument. Yes, it's a personal thing. It's for personal purpose. If Trump doesn't personally get involved, i.e. if Trump even doesn't know it, then FEC can have strong belief that it is his campaign or Cohen did it for election purpose. because it's your personal thing, but you even didn't know it and didn't worked on it. Yes, "personal involvement" is very important to Trump's defense.
His personal involvement was to save his candidacy. He couldn’t give two shits that he is known as a womanizer.
He’s bragged about it and since being married to the current wife.
Should have gone with my first instinct. If Eli says left I should go right.

I was just looking for an opportunity to try my "marinating" line in front of a test audience. My 90s retro comedy set is coming together quite nicely.
