Is impeachment the solution?
I’ve always wanted the RICO Act to take down his entire grifter family but impeach will do.
But there is no potentially innocent explanations for lying about it.
It seems to be the strategy of the entire Trump gang to lie to the America people until forced by evidence to tell the truth.
You have to be a major Trump cultist to believe that we now know the truth about everything, that we are finally now aware of the full extent of their lies.
Or that anything they say now is he full truth.

Early photos over the weekend showed Jimbo Fisher's nephew fighting with Kevin Faulk.
Looked bad for Fisher, especially after an LSU assistant with Parkinson's alleged that Faulk was defending him from Fisher...that Fisher had punched him in his pacemaker.
But, over the course of the week, more facts are coming out to fill in the assumptions of people.
Turns out Fisher was trying to stop another guy from starting a fight...the Parkinson's guy approached Fisher to mouth off at the guy who was starting it all...an LSU player blindsided Fisher with a vicious punch...the supposed punch by Fisher was a mere push away of the Parkinson's guy...etc.
Alternative (additional) facts sometimes take something that looks bad initially, and turn it into a more understandable and possibly even justifiable situation.
But you've been in a courtroom. You should know how this works. It just seems like you don't want more facts, because you would rather fill in the gaps with your assumptions.
I will wait for the facts to come out. Who knows what the additional facts (alternatives to assumptions) will show? Maybe Trump is guilty of an impeachable offense...maybe he is not. We'll have to see.

Obviously, the terms have different technical meanings. The problem is when someone is not speaking technically and precisely, their words can be used against them by language technicians. Politics as usual.
But a fact like the number of people at an inauguration doesn’t have an alternative. There may be other facts that explain it, but the figure is the figure.
Trump’s real estate business partner from Russia (Trump has been trying to build a tower in Moscow for some time) used his political influence to arrange a meeting between the Russian lawyer chick and Don Jr in June of 2016 under pretext of providing dirt on Hillary.
In truth, she wanted to lobby for adoption law changes which has been an agenda item of Russia’s for a while.
Don Jr Left the meeting after only a short time after realizing that she wasn’t going to provide dirt.
No laws were broken at any point with any of this activity to date.
Pres Trump claims he never knew of meeting beforehand as does Don Jr. (I under oath) as well as Cohen (initially - also under oath).
Cohen, Trump’s lawyer, was targeted by Mueller because he is a dirty character, and indeed, they found tax fraud that can put him away for a long time.
It has become clear from multiple witnesses being examined, that Mueller’s main henchman, Wiesman has been threatening to screw witnesses into the ground if they don’t provide the type of testimony that they desire (and the political make up of Team Mueller has been well documented).
While other witnesses have not buckled, Cohen is facing a lot of years and has changed his testimony to claim that Trump knew about the meeting.
In the meantime, a fact that you and yours often gloss over is that it has been proven that the Russian lawyer who initially met with Jr had been in constant contact with Fusion GPS bother before and after the meeting, and it appears highly possible that this was a trap set up by Fusion who was being retained by the Clintons and the DNC and who, also has ties (husband at DOJ and wife at Fusion GPS) in the DOJ with people with texts proving their political malice for Trump.
So this will all come down to he said (Cohen) vs he and he said (Trump and Don Jr) where Cohen is already a proven liar about a meeting where no laws were broken though in a worst case scenario, Jr could be caught lying to Congress about an event that was perfectly legal and innocuous.
No votes tampered with as I’ll informed Dems like to believe, no possible collusion from a brief one time meeting where Jr wisely walked out of in just minutes.
But his is about politics. The Dems need a fake reason for impeachment, and they’ve already invested so much into this turkey that turned out to be untrue that they will go ahead and use it anyways.
...then why have they spent the last two years lying about it?
There is no way to explain that innocently.
Of course you will say “Comey hasn’t released his info yet” which ironically proves both your inherent bias that Trump lying since the results haven’t been released as well as a concession of your conviction (which we all share) that Mueller is engaging in a witch hunt, and that you are confident that he shares your goal of bringing down Trump.
How far you have come from your claims of Russian vote tampering 2 yrs ago!
Isn’t sad that recent polls show that >60% of Dems actually falsely believe that the Russians actually tampered with the ballots? Your party truly relies on the stupidity of it’s base as well as the falsehoods that their complicit MSM spreads to them.
In all seriousness, if you will not acknowledge that your boy lies, then there is no point in engaging with you. You are either firmly in denial or lying yourself.
Also: I never suggested there was "vote tampering"; that is not the issue. Stop it.

and his statements were clearly in the context of the Russian Collusion accusations regarding fixing the election which he denied involvement “in any way”. His statement were never meant to be taken as a claim that he had not looked at business with them - another action that is completely legal btw. Your out of context interpretation of his statements is a good demonstration of the hysteria that has gripped the Left once again.
You also have yet to explain the coordinated involvement of Fusion GPS, the DNC, the DOJ, and Team Mueller.
THAT is the real scandal here....along with Obama spying on the opponent’s election campaign prior to the election.

Fast forward to 5 minutes or so in for the montages.

And look at how you are parsing words for a lie to the press (incorrectly), and see how far this is from the Russian Collusion.
I’ll gladly just grant you this nothingburger if it makes you happy. I remember Obama claiming that we could keep our doctors also. How on earth does this live up to your grandiose claims of Russians tampering with the election with Trumps complicity? That was what you claimed at the onset of this nonsense.
So far, the Trumpies have lied incessantly about the contacts that we know of. There is no need to lie about innocent interactions.
We don't know what Mueller knows. That is the third time I have posted that today.

The nation’s integrity takes a back seat to their political calculation that they will lose seat in primary if they take sides against Trump.
I still think the nation is tiring of the Trump Show.
Best if he is indicted.

Every day with this guy is exhausting. He is tiring everyone out, including his base.
And even some in the Senate have criticized him this week. Even I want to be AG Graham.
Dem house takeover sent a message.
The law is also unsettled as to whether an official can be "impeached" for crimes committed prior to his or her taking office. This derives from the use of the word "high" in connection with his or her "crimes and misdemeanors." Some interpret this to mean that the offenses were committed in his or her official capacity.
In any case, both of these issues would have to be litigated through the courts all the way to the Supremes. Trump's first term will likely expire before all this gets worked out. Meanwhile, the lawyers and cable talking heads will be very "gainfully" employed.

The Democrats know they cannot win an impeachment trial, until and unless the GOP invited the impeachment (ala Watergate).
In my view, that only happens if the indictment makes clear that Trump has been compromised for a long time, and obstructed to protect his relationship as Putin's "bitch."
The GOP will only go for Trump's head if they know politically, the timing/temperature is safe.
Otherwise, the D's will wisely not impeach, and let Trump be the incumbent in 2020.

But a he said / he said with his ex-fixer would never be enough... unless there is a tape.
If he’s a liar so is little Orange.
Guarantee you they will have more than Cohen’s word, but in this he will be far more credible than Jr.

We live in a banana republic, because the Constitution is diminishing in importance, and civility is no longer valued by either side.
In other words, if Hills had been elected and this shit came out, I would be saying exactly the same.
But she didn’t, which is the problem with your logic on this topic.
No one would care about this Orange crook either now if he had lost.
I will add this: Because there really is no standard, it truly becomes a political issue, not an ethical issue. This is what the Dems figured out before Trump came along, and Trump figured it out, too. There is no ethical standard on this kind of stuff. It is only a political standard, and political standards are not based on right and wrong, but on what you can get away with. Both parties will live by this, which means that the Right will be lobbing the same types of stuff at the next Dem president. Perhaps you will be the one noble crusader. I will be the pestering peanut gallery, sitting in my recliner, lamenting that each cycle takes the country further and further down. The good news is, as bad as Trump is, he is actually a net positive for the country, and I don't understand why you would sacrifice that.
those two.
For example as wacky as Sanders is, I don’t think he’s a crook. Same for Biden, Barry, Warren, Jeb, Cruz, Kasich, Little Marco, Pence, or even Christie.
The Clintons and Orange are in a league of their own in that regard.
And there is no way that Orange was a net positive for the nation.

also how dumb and insulting he is all of which has proved true. Problem is, he’s far worse than any imagination could have suggested.
He was a low class corrupt buffoon for decades in New York City.
