But the Kurds are now thinking of releasing 3,200 ISIS prisoners.

Somehow, methinks they don’t see it that way.

Again, I think it is the right call.
But it was preceded by NO interagency meetings on any level, much less an NSC meeting. So the potential risks were not identified, and no ways to deal with them were conceived; HOW to do it was not reviewed, so the Kurds are understandably upset.
It is an absurdly bad way to run foreign policy.
These interventionists just tried everything to change or delay Trump's decision since his announcement to withdraw from Syria on April 2018. There is no such a thing that Trump didn't tell them he would bring troops back home. It is just that they had been disagreeing with Trump and tried to delay his decision. There is no surprise no drama here to anybody related. You are creating a drama out of thin air to make Trump looked bad. As I said before, you should feel ashamed to yourself by selling your soul to neocon for your anti-Trump purpose.

I'm just wondering how the general public would know that no steps were taken to handle the risks. If there were, we certainly cannot rely on the NYT to report on them. Instead, we can count on them to write repeatedly that no such steps were taken, without regard to the truth.
April.
He’s an idiot, like you.
Personally I don’t give a shit about Syria but it’s pretty clear that anything Diapers touches turns to chaos. The point is, Donnie has a way of fucking up even when he’s right.
The guy is a train wreck but you’re so emotionally invested in him that you choose not to see it.

The Washington Post's story cited 27 - 27! - sources inside the White House. This is not fake news. And they all said that this was something Trump decided to do after his conversation with Erdogan, and after consulting precisely no one. No interagency meetings. No contingency planning. No notification of allies or anyone else.
The absolute worst attribute for someone in his position.
