It was widely rumored, and most likely true, that she got fired from her family's business. Probably the worst gubernatorial candidate in my lifetime. Literally could not answer a question during the campaign without flubbing it.

She doesn't seem to have a coherent point. All I could get out of it was that you're a racist if you expect people to behave in an orderly manner and follow the law.
noticed but thought of as radical so you say crazy things. Back in the 60s if you wanted to get noticed and thought to be radical you said things like,
H. Rap Brown, Stokely Carmichael are Uncle Toms. People reacted, "Wow, he must be really radicical" or an asshole.
