You just can’t control yourselves. And now, even your own base won’t believe the charges/attacks that you bring against Barrett.
Gorsuch was a conservative to replace a conservative. Kavanaugh was a moderate to replace a moderate. Coney Barrett will be a conservative to replace a liberal. And with the combination of a better Senate cushion thanks to the GOP midterm victory in th senate along with the removal of nerve Trumpers like Corker and Flake whose votes had to be cajoled even as Republicans, the votes should be there for a confirmation regardless of Collins or Murkowski’s cooperation.
Start a gofundme.

I mean, I do not agree with much of her politics at all, but she is by all accounts a very nice woman, and has served her country for a very long time.

My own actual words. I didn’t even mention RBG in my OP of this thread, but I did refer to her seat. As Kavanaugh found out, these guys love to falsely accuse others. Are you really going to join them in that nasty habit?
There is no reason that the SCOTUS seat itself cannot be discussed. As posted in a link in my response to Chris below, I have been saying this same thought long before Ginsburg was found to be ill. I hope that you take the time to read it.
for repeatedly giving false testimony.

Justice Ginsburg is an American hero. Her intellect, integrity, and devotion to her nation, are beyond reproach.
Shame on your insensitive post.
...every single member of the SCOTUS is going to die. Their seats are fair game for discussion, though we should all hope the best for them as people...and I do.
Now, why don’t you stop hiding behind faux outrage and try addressing my point that Dems foolishly damaged their credibility with their absurd Kavanaugh attacks, and that it made an appointment of a real conservative much more likely. It appears that Ginsburg’s spot is most likely given recent news, though Thomas and Breyer are also getting up there too.

The Federalist society does not typically support moderates. By most measures, his record is MORE conservative than Gorsuch.
This analysis is a good one.
But it is nice to see all the pro-lifers gloat over the illness of an elderly woman.

seeing the malicious and deceitful strategy that Dems employed against an innocent man blow up in their face. We do want Dems to feel consequences for fabricating absurd claims. And while we do not want RBG to be sick, it is inevitable that all justices are eventually replaced, and we do want to reclaim that seat with a real conservative.
I actually posted this same thought and mentioned the RBG seat a while back - long before any infirmity was announced. While I definitely don’t like her as a judge, I do wish her the best health as a person. I do hope she steps down and does well, but under no circumstances do I want anything bad to happen to her, and I was not happy to hear that she was sick. If she stays on the court, I still hope for her to be healthy. Nonetheless, I don’t see why this obvious elephant in the room cannot be discussed, and I do hope to gloat at those who fabricated ridiculous claims against Kavanaugh as their deceitful ness comes back to bite them.
