I googled them, because I wasn't sure what the hell you were so scared of.
Treehugger.com indicates that we don't know if those chemicals are bad for us. They admit that there are dozens of internet sites which say they are bad, but they admit that there is "limited or no evidence of human disease" accompanying exposure to these chemicals. They even show a video of people walking into a cloud of foam made of the stuff (testing a fire suppression system).
These idiots that write these articles lose credibility by throwing in "hot button" issues that have no relevance to the discussion.
