Hate him because he's married to a supermodel.
Hate him because he's got the high cheek bones, the hair and the smile.
Hate him because he's living the life.
Hate him because he breaks your heart. Every. Flippin'. Year.
Hate him because you ain't him.
But respect him for the most playoff wins, most division titles, most conference titles, most Super Bowl appearances, most Super Bowl wins and most Super Bowl MVPs. Respect him for the almost two decade long shadow he's cast on the NFL. Sustained excellence.
In the history of major team sports leagues there is only one player ever who can say this morning that there are no sports franchises in his own league that have more championships than he does. Not the NFL, NHL, MLB or NBA. Just Tom.
Tom Brady. The best that ever played a game.

Highest career winning % for a starting QB
#1 in career average yards gained per pass attempt (Brady is #26)

Does anyone think he would have been great without Belichick?
Would Drew Brees have gone to a dozen super bowls on the Patriots?
Is Brady - Belichick = Matt Ryan?

What if Montana didn't have Bill Walsh and Jerry Rice? What if Dan Marino did? What if you switched the teams that Russell and Chamberlain played on their entire careers? You can play that game for everyone.
Brady has the ability. Belichick created the opportunity. Greatness.

I KNEW you would struggle with my second last paragraph. Read it again. Figure it out. Do the math.
Berra. Richard, Russell: "who can say this morning that there are no sports franchises in his own league that have more championships than he does."
This should assume within their lifetime. Otherwise you go back to the 19th century for Baseball, early 20th for hockey, and 1934 for The NFL and it becomes a ridiculous argument.
The NYG have 7 NFL Championships, for example.
A mumbled ESL assertion on your part.
Honestly, I don't know why I bother. Let me make this as elementary as possible for you.
NHL Stanley Cup Championships:
Montreal Canadiens - 24
Toronto Maple Leafs - 13
Henri Richard - 11
MLB World Series Champions:
New York Yankees - 27
St. Louis Cardinals - 11
Yogi Berra - 10
NBA Championships:
Boston Celtics - 17
LA Lakers - 16
Bill Russell - 11
NFL Super Bowl Champions:
Tom Brady - 6
New England Patriots - 6
Pittsburgh Steelers - 6
It's a cool stat. I created it.
I despise skunk bear Tom.
Nonetheless he is the GOAT at least in my lifetime of all sports. Can’t comment about guys I’ve never seen.
You conveniently edit history to suit your assertions.

In Russell’s case, I looked it up. Between 1967 and 1969, 14 Hall-of-famers played on the Celtics.
How many have been on these Patriot teams?
" Any dynasty had multiple great players. Bob Cousy is one of the all-time great guards. However, Russell won 5 championships without him. John Havlicek is also one of the 15 all-time greatest players in history. Russell won 5 championships without him. He won multiple championships without every one of his teammates (except Sam Jones, whom he won 1 without, but Jones was a backup for his first 4 seasons).
Also, the 1955 Celtics had Cousy, Bill Sharman, Frank Ramsey, and "Easy" Ed McCauley (at center). That is FOUR hall of famers. They were coached by Red Auerbach. They were 36-36 and finished in 3rd place in the division. The next season, they went 39-33. The season after that, Russell joined (and only played 48 games due to the Olympics), and they went 44-28 and won the championship.
Look at his first title team (1957) and look at his last title team (1969). Who was the only constant? Bill Russell at center.
After the last title, Russell and Sam Jones retired. The Celtics drafted Jo Jo White to replace Jones. The dropped 3 ppg at that position. White is in the hall of fame. Hank Finkel replaced Russell. The Celtics missed the playoffs."
Russell played in a league with 10 teams. Brady plays in a league with 32 teams.
There are 5 starters on an NBA team. NFL teams have 22 starters.
In any one season, Russell started with 40-60% of his team's starters being HOFers in a 10 team league! The NFL equivalent would mean that Brady has played and is playing with 9-13 HOFers throughout his career in a 32 team league.
Point out the 9 HOFers from last night's Pats team. You can't because they aren't there.
Give it up. Don't fear greatness. Embrace it.
He neither plays with, nor against as many HOF players do to the dilution and de-volution of his sport.
When guys are flagged for legitimately and cleanly tackling a "defenseless player" then the game is comically soft.
Last night's "Super" Bowl was a shit show.

blue collar players.
I am a Bengal fan, so really have no dog in the hunt, but it is quite amazing what the Pats have done for a while now.
I reluctantly think Brady is the GOAT (wouldn't concede Montana for a long time) but playing for this HOF coach is akin to playing with other HOF'ers. Not sure Brady is GOAT without Belichick (and likely vice versa, as well).
