I think the world has a drug problem.

Build that wall!

A wall with open gates. We just want to screen out as many criminals, drug traffickers, and
human traffickers as possible.
A wall funnels much more of the traffic through these "open gate "locations which can be set up to screen properly. All very sensible and ethical - for not only our citizens, but also for the immigrants..
Most drugs are smuggled in at ports of entry, a point that Nan and Chuck were trying to make to el
jeffe.
So, our screening processes don't work. Therefore we shouldn't try to screen more. Nan & Chuck logic

In fact no, they wanted to spend more money on screening at points of entry.
The obvious point is that is the effective way to address smuggling, not the beautiful 2K mile wall.
Walls don't work. I wonder why they bother with ports of entry.

That’s a stupid argument. Some barrier security is needed and does work. A 2K mile wall, please.
Orange has completely demagogued this issue. Real security at points of entry and elsewhere does work.
The big, beautiful wall, not so much.
P.S. He still could have had his big beautiful wall last year for DACA but fucked that up also. Clown.
Most illegal immigrants do not

Right. The conceern is the brown people, not the drugs. We accept your apology.

Did I say the drugs were of no concern? I said most illegals
do not enter at port of entry. Quit being a wise ass
Exactly. If drugs are the concern, you beef up screening at POE’s. You don’t build a 2K mile wall.

We need rational drug laws.
Here would be my drug policy:
More control of prescription opioids.
Meth, Heroin and Cocaine remain schedule 1 with a focus on prosecuting producers, dealers and supply chain.
Marijuana, Psilocybin, LSD, MDMA, DMT all legalized nationwide and taxed.
