A third world country by every standard
What are your standards? California meets all of them? Or are you just spitting out whatever bumper sticker zinger that pops into your addled brain?
But let's play along:
1. Of what you consider third world countries, where does California's poverty rate stand? Dead last?
2. What measure are you using for "nation's most poverty"? Total households in poverty? That makes little sense since California has the greatest population of the 50 states.
3. On percentage of households in poverty, California is not near the most.
4. We won't even talk about other third world ("developing countries") standards such as low GDP, inadequate access to safe drinking water, widespread disease, etc.
