It's a political OJ trial moment for the media on both sides. Legally, it's inconsequential. If there were meat on that bone the Mueller bulldogs would have gnawed it to marrow. Politically, it will may suffice to allow the House to impeach, but will not suffice to bring conviction in the Senate. No Republican Senator would want to face a primary challenge after deeply offending the party's base. It would be like a black juror voting to convict the juice.
