If it benefits charity, why not?
feminists may be appalled, but what's the harm?

...my dorm produced a 'Women Of ND' calendar, which featured each of the 12 hot chicks on campus. The photos were strictly G rated. The most scandalous pic was of a cheerleader who happened to be a former Miss Virginia. She was hot. Her pic was her in a one-piece swimsuit, sitting on a beach towel in a very non-suggestive pose.
Based on the flood of letters to The Observer, you'd have thought we included photos similar to the album cover of Spinal Tap's 'Smell The Glove'.
I took a look at the Observer archives, and apparently the Men of ND Calendar came before the Women of ND Calendar. But, yes, there was apparently a bit of outrage at the Women of ND Calendar.
Granted, that dorm was not around then. But I do recall a "Mr Notre Dame" pageant, which was contested by shirtless douchebag types and fat guys who were there to get laughs. One of my friends participated - he played a slow version of "Talk Dirty to Me" on the guitar and then lit his arm on fire, much to the horror of the pageant organizers.
He tied for first.
