When there is NO hope and pain is upon you, pain that is excruciating, you don't need the sky pilots with their bibles, you don't need to see your family screaming at the doctors, you don't need thousands of dollars per day in expenses, you don't need politicians and people guided by their religion deciding your business.

I worry too much about those who are suffering from depression (for which there is treatment) and those who have an interest in their relatives passing on. And if you are wondering, I am 100% against capital punishment... for anyone!
I'd be ok with administering drugs/medicines that relieved pain with the consequence of shortening life. Hell... I do that every Saturday night.

I understand it. I'm compassionate about the factors that drive people to it. I understand when it happens as a double effect when saving others from death. But, I don't support it. I would never intend it.
