Sentenced to another 43 months on top of the 47 months he received last week. Then 30 minutes after sentencing, SDNY indicts him on state charges for mortgage fraud (pardon proof).
Hey, but at least his attorney Kevin Downing didn't embarrass himself on the courtroom steps today...."No collusion!"
Awesome theater.

Why don't you start a new thread with an original thought rather than post something irrelevant to the thread.

Angelo may have been a trickster and shady, but he also lived through a sad experience in the South. Angelo grew up in the Bronx and was used to diversity and seeing Italians being allowed to join certain country clubs. When he started to advance at Countrywide he was posted to a town in South Carolina. The person in his position had always been invited to join the local CC. He excitedly spoke to his sister about his upcoming honor telling her he was going to buy some new suits, etc.,. and sporting gear. Angelo never go the call from the CC, never got the invite. He called his sister and told her he couldn't understand why he was never invited to join. His sister knew.
Later Angelo learned-the times weren't right at the club for someone named "Angelo" to get an invite. This impacted him to the point that he would never allow "redlining" at Countrywide. He even sent in Black couples to apply for loans to see how they were treated.
This doesn't make up for miscreant behavior, but it shows another side.
By the way, years ago when Mario Cuemo (sp?) was being urged to run for president. He sadly said, "There are too many parts of this country that are not ready to vote for someone named, 'Mario.'"
