He’s had reversals by the courts on eviction moratoriums and vaccine mandates. His border policy has been an epic failure in spite (because?) of the best efforts of his border czar, Kamala Harris. Speaking of Kamala, she seems to be the worst VP choice since Spiro Agnew. The virus has not been brought under control. Afghanistan was a truly epic debacle, with Afghans literally falling off fleeing US planes. American citizens are STILL stuck there. His legislative efforts have become mired in the mud. He is presiding over the worst inflation in decades. Incredibly, his poll numbers are worse than Trump’s. At least half the country thinks he is suffering from Alzheimers. And, he just delivered a ranting speech that called 52 Senators and half the American people racists.
The only thing that worked for him was hoodwinking the progressives into allowing the infrastructure bill to be passed.
It looks like his dreams of being another domestic FDR are crushed... so the mess ups would be in foreign relations, where there are perils galore.

using your points of contention...
>wrt COVID, the goal is to turn the 'pandemic' into an 'endemic' health situation that keeps citizens out of our hospitals and ICUs...by now everyone knows that vaccination is the key...it undeniably accomplishes that aim...however, after a year of appeals to voluntary vaccination, tens of millions of Americans refuse to do the right thing...endangering their own lives and unduly stressing our HC systems, which ends up denying services to the vast majority who have gotten vaccinated....mandates are the most effective means of closing that gap now, yet the SCOTUS can't seem to appreciate the value of this simple, safe and effective temporary measure...go figure....not Biden's fault that they can approve it for one segment of our society (Health Dare), but no other>
>The recent immigration surges at our southern border have been caused by upheavals in Central America and Haiti...that is the "Root Cause" of our problem, so the proper thing to do is find ways to keep those people from having to flee their homes and march hundreds, if not thousands, of miles in search of the best opportunity they could envision...the USA. To that end, Biden has Kamala Harris working on that effort, and she's making progress in ways that were not taken previously...as shown in this link...
https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/statements-releases/2021/12/13/vice-president-kamala-harris-announces-new-commitments-as-part-of-the-call-to-action-for-the-private-sector-to-deepen-investment-in-central-america-now-totaling-over-1-2-billion/
>Given that our COVID ICUs are upwards of 98% populated with Unvaccinated people...and we still have nearly 30M adults in that category...we won't reach "Endemic" status until they've either gotten vaccinated, or infected...without mandates and other 'forceful' measures (e.g. denial of service w/o vaccination), it will only take longer for us to achieve that objective...hopefully, without a new variant occurring in the interim.
>Considering that "Afghanistan" was ALL ABOUT getting Afghanis who aided the U.S. out of there, Biden did a phenomenal job of allowing over 120,000 to leave, along with 6,000 u.S. citizens. It shouldn't be forgotten that the preceding President had no plan for the evacuation of Afghanis...he even shut down the process for granting Special Visas that normally takes a year to complete, so that the Biden administration had to start from ground zero with only a few months (extended from May 1st to August 31st) to play with....bottom line...Trump would not have removed ANY friendly Afghanis...that would have been a true debacle.
>Our current inflationary issues IMO, stem from the pandemic...ideally, once we reach the "Endemic Stage" we should see a decrease...provided the public doesn't "build in" inflationary expectations...clearly, the #1 task is to get COVID under control...ergo, the mandates, etc...so many benefits from vaxxing...yet so many opposing it...have to wonder why.
>It's a long way until 2024...once COVID becomes an "Endemic" virus, those poll numbers will rise substantially...that is the "root cause" of today's numbers IMO...
>Half the country is being told Biden has dementia by his political opponents...no surprise there...yet, progress is being made...see the attached link, as well as this one...
>Oh, yeah...that Infrastructure Bill...even Republicans who wouldn't be caught dead voting for it are crowing about in their home states...it was a monumental piece of legislation that was LONG OVERDUE...something that the previous administration couldn't seem to accomplish when clearly it has strong bi-partisan support...how did it not happen in the four prior years?...talk about a Debacle ;-).
Hope you take the time, as an objective American voter, to read the links...if only to understand both sides of the issues.

are a Biden bot, with no real substance whatsoever ever
that the Trump administration did absolutely nothing in this arena demonstrates a dramatic improvement in tackling the very cause of our surge problems at the border...what's wrong with any of those things that she has accomplished in her first year?...even an Independent voter can see and approve of these actions...why can't you acknowledge them?
BTW, speaking of V.P.'s...what are some of Mike Pence's accomplishments in his four years?
everybody but you and your board Nimrods know it. Or, maybe you ARE the only one dumb enough to go
on record defending her
from my earlier link that spoke of V.P. Harris gaining $1.2B in private investment increases in Central America...two examples...and I assume you've heard of these companies...
PepsiCo
PepsiCo is a global food and beverage company with a long-standing presence in Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras. PepsiCo directly operates its food business with a regional manufacturing hub in Guatemala, employing over 4,000 people directly, and generating at least an additional 6,800 indirect jobs through its supply chain. PepsiCo expects to invest at least $190 million in northern Central America through 2025, including with improvements to its infrastructure and manufacturing plants; expansion of new distribution routes; IT projects; and investments aligned with its “pep+” (PepsiCo Positive) agenda. This includes spreading regenerative farming practices across seven million acres (which is approximately the size of the company’s entire agricultural footprint), becoming Net Water Positive by 2030 by reducing absolute water use and replenishing watersheds, and achieving net-zero emissions by 2040 by increasing the use of renewable energy, among other efforts.
Cargill
Cargill has operated in Central America for more than 50 years, with 10,000 employees working in the region. As part of the Call to Action, Cargill will invest an additional $150 million over the next five years with the intention of improving farmer livelihoods and building economic resilience in Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador. The company’s investments will aim to create jobs and support producers as well as micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the protein and animal nutrition supply chains. Cargill will also contribute at least $10 million over three years to partnerships that directly support farmers and farm communities, and improve food security through community nutrition and school meal programs. Cargill’s new commercial and philanthropic efforts will expand support for more than 19,000 farmers, 52,000 MSMEs, and more than 25,000 children and community members in El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. This includes support for USAID’s Guatemala Entrepreneurship and Development Innovation (GEDI) Initiative for small businesses owners, which the Vice President announced in June.
Do you have a problem with these efforts?...should they not be pursued?...will they not help resolve the problem?...do a little thinking for a change and debate this important issue intelligently....can you do that?...btw, feel free to offer your own ideas as to how this issue can be resolved...but just remember that even the GOP wouldn't support Trump's "Wall" when they had the House and Senate as well.
You might do some research on, as an example, the ABCD of foods before you beatify multinational corporations (Cargill being the largest private Corp in the world). Without doing any research whatsoever, I can near guarantee the actions of the corps are all about profits. And it's unlikely Kamala had any influence whatsoever.
the "Red Herring" and talk about what V.P. Harris is doing in Central America...do you have leaked or hacked emails that prove none of the things I referred to actually happened, and that V.P. Harris really had no knowledge of them...never met with those companies or C.A. leaders to discuss such investments?
You make inane statements, with zero backup...sure frees up time for you..adds nothing to any reader's knowledge base...but who cares about getting to the truth of any matter...am I right about you?
Left-wing corporatism is my favorite form of hypocrisy.
The Supreme Court didn't fail to grasp the "importance" of vaccines. Merely the legality of the mandate. You lying scumbag.
And your defense of the worthless veep reads like an embarrassing, rationalizing piece of propaganda.

term...I'm sure, seeing McConnell 'up close and personal' during the Obama years left Joe with no illusions there...but Manchin and Sinema, especially, are odd ducks that don't want to be team players, so he's stuck...plus the "Federalist Society Approved" Justices aren't going to help either...not an enviable situation.
As I think you said earlier, it's going to be up to the Dems to get out every vote in 2022 so that they have sufficient margins in the House and Senate...it's that simple.
The GOP is all about power. Nothing else matters. They could give two shits about the health/best interests of the nation -- they just want Biden to fail -- same strategy perpetrated against Obama.
And the GOP will do anything to win elections. The last thing they want is strong 2020 voter turnout -- knowing they will lose every time. Hence, they have demonized mail-in voting as "fraudulent" in order to roll back voting to the Stone age -- allowing a narrower window of access and opportunity to vote, plus making voting an obstacle course, plus making sure the counters (their cronies) can fix the count in close races.
The Democrats need to accept the battlefield as it is, yet conquer it anyway. Register voters, call out the GOP for their suppression, rally the troops to the polls, and climb the fookin mountain. Once Democrats smash thru the GOP's final fortifications, then America can take off like a rocketship.
Make the current GOP irrelevant. Win more races.
I'm also trusting that the House Jan. 6th Committee, plus DOJ investigations...plus NY and GA cases will expose Trump and his 'coterie' of candidates to all independent voters.
The Lin Cheney Republicans do not want Kevin McCarthy, Jim Jordan, and the Trump cultists leading their party. Nor do Independents want the crazies in charge.
It is that 10% slice of voters in the Swingers Club that will make all the difference in forthcoming elections, ... a least until the demographics make them irrelevant as well.

worn such a 'chapeau' and ask her "Why?"...could impact your thinking on this subject.
What kind of a man would wear a vagina hat? Is there a term for this extreme opposite of misogynist?
have a good sense of why they do that...you need to do more research ;-)...then get back to us with your findings.

Unforced error by the Dems choosing Biden as I've said all along.
I doubt Bernie or Warren could win a national election. Maybe Mayor Pete could have won, but black turnout would have been pretty poor for him.
Anyway, I doubt Klobuchar could have been worse than Biden. This guy is historically awful. The only thing keeping him from being called the worst in a century is his predecessor.

According to normals, it wasn’t a great year, but that’s largely due to inflation, which overrides everything else for lots of people.
Problems with his dem caucus. And fucking covid. But no new wars, no big policy missteps that can’t be dealt with.
I’d give it a B/B-.
this way.

Right now inflation is a bitch that no matter who was in office right now would be feeling. Can't policy your way out of it, just let this capitalist country work it out.
