Pussies and non-hackers are always the most hawkish — Trump, Cheney, Bolton, Wolfowitz, et al.
Trump needs military hardware to overcome his lack of substance.
A real leader would have quietly spent the 4th of July with troops or sailors at some far away dangerous place.
Or are you just sexist to think that women can't be tough?

I mean, below, you agreed that static displays were conventional for celebrations like this, and that is what Trump did. Other presidents have rolled tanks.

Seriously, how many threads and responses are there celebrating that Trump actually did not humiliate our country. Set a higher bar, folks.
He does embarrassing stuff all the time. All. The. Time.
What's weird is when his opponents look for stuff that is not humuliating, and acts as if it is, which is the case here. Tanks have rolled in parades before. They will roll in parades again.
Are there people making it out to be worse?
I mean, except for the part where he thought there were airports in 1775.
My post wasn't about his speech. But, in general, the commentators worked themselves into a frenzy about him politicizing the 4th, and fetishizing the military because he is a despot...and then the entire event turned out pretty well...again, from what I can tell. I was focused on the craft beer cooler in my brother-in-law's back yard most of the day...a different beer every time I pulled my hand out...that's a good afternoon doing nothing.
The TDS defense of that spectacle is typical.
My assessment regarded what other people thought of it, based on their commentary (e.g., FoxNews and CNN, the latter saying that it was his least polarizing speech...high praise indeed from CNN). LeHigh is the one who brought up the speech, not me.
Did YOU watch the speech?
Would never watch that horse shit from any prez.
(no message)
Didn’t need to watch it for that.
You misread posts all the time, which is bad for someone who likes to latch on to small details and make a big deal about them.

And of course JFK fought through his bone spurs to be a war hero.
Something about draft dodgers and military parades that just don’t go together well.

Any July 4 parades with tanks rolling through DC?
By the way JFK the warmonger was repeatedly called soft on communism by the Republicans including Goldwater and Nixon.

They didn’t have to interrupt an active war to bring the stuff in for it.

Maybe only Bradleys?
You may, of course, know more.

You may like Orange for other reasons but his fake 5th medical deferment trumps anything on the D side.
If anti-Trumpers want real criticisms to stick to him, then they should focus on real criticisms, and not drown out their own legitimate criticisms with bullshit noise that is more easily defended because it is made up.

I guess they lost that ability since they rolled tanks for H.W. Sad. More proof we need to spend more money on defense, I guess.

He wanted a huge parade with military vehicles for Veterans Day.

But he didn’t just want nice little static 5K displays.

through DC. You can’t deny that point, and can only point to what he was forced to accept.

A wannabe one, maybe.
I mean, why would I? Your opposition to the tanks was purely based on your well developed theories of logistical impossibilities.
Glad we established that you don't believe Trump is a despot, though. We made that much progress, at least.
