two guys from my HS soccer team were on the US Olympic track team. They weren’t close to being the best athletes on the team.
talents, they should be d1 soccer recruits.
A lot more money to be made there, plus you get to stand around most of the time.

from 10 teams of just 15 years ago to 26 teams in 2020 and 30 teams in next 4 years? Do you know how many new soccer stadiums have MLS brought to our communities? MLS is the best story of all pro sport leagues in the world in 21st century. U.S. women's professional soccer is totally a failure despite of huge financial help from Fox sports, Comcast and other business.
On international competitions, many big soccer countries (Brazil, Argentina, Mexico...) don't care about women soccer, some big soccer countries are playing catchup. Worldcup is not a mega prestige sport event in the world. It's even hard to find host countries. The first women world cup was even not called world cup. We all know why.
