Proud of my adopted home state today. This is a big deal.
Have not been the biggest DeWine fan, but this is a major coup and he deserves some credit.

Wonder why? Can't be the weather or the scenery.
you to tip your hat to the remarkable creative environment of CALIFORNIA that gave 'Birth' to Intel and scores of other High Tech companies...companies that helping to give life to "Flyover States"...stop being a 'separatist' and appreciate what makes this country great.

when did they suddenly show up?
The 'Start-Up' infrastructure in the Bay Area is awe-inspiring...financing, skill sets, etc...it hasn't collapsed...don't be such a 'Debbie Downer'...or is it all just political on your part?
Nike is in Beaverton. I was there at the Mia Hamm building for about 5 years. Maybe that's what you're babbling about.
Not sure what that has to do with companies jettisoning the Golden State. But thank you for your interest in my beloved Oregon. Only problem with Oregon is it borders that shithole.
Nothing political. I just like to offer a counter point to your fairytales. You just love the sound of your own voice.
Intel has not fled California...again, I'm sorry you had a bad experience with CA, but it's still a great state and IMO "better than most", and I've been all over this country...grew up in NYC...lots of time in New England...college in the Mid-West...home in CA and business everywhere else. Each part of the country has its own 'charm' and reasons to feel "at home"...personally, I prefer to focus on the good things...and good people...rather than make it a 'mission' to bring them down...but that's just me.
Places and people are leaving CA. Fact. Because Intel maintains a presences in Santa Clara doesn't change this.
You're not stupid Tyrone.
Edit: you sure don't like it when folks come back at you do you? Wee lamb. You taking the fighting right out of Fighting Irish.
but wrt to the larger picture, CA is still far and away, the leading state by GDP...going to take a few more companies to leave before that changes...
CA is not a problem for the USA...it can take care of itself...you should shift your focus elsewhere...if you're trying help out.
Yet another tangent brought up by you to deflect from the point. People and companies are leaving California. Full stop.
California may not be THE problem with my country. But it's leadership and most citizens are a massive problem.
that you don't like Democrats...that's fine....we need competition so that the nation can see which policies are producing the best performance and then vote accordingly. I personally welcome that and would appreciate if you could spend some time showing me/us examples of GOP states that have done more than their fair share for the rest of us....to my way of thinking, that would be a whole lot more "productive" use of your time...might even lead to some Democrats "Seeing the Light" and switching their votes...(a little incentive there for you ;-))
