They are just following talking points from the bobble heads on CNN and the rest. In Indiana, you have to show a legit approved ID twice before you even get to the machine. Your name is crossed checked against your ID and latest info .No one complains. The poor, the upper class, the blue collar, the minorities, all religions and those without any religion have plenty of time to vote before election day. No free water. No breakfast buffet. You do get a free useless paper mask if you ask for it but mask mandates are non existent in Indiana elections. Polls open promptly at 6AM and close promptly at 6PM on election day. Somehow, everyone seems to find a ride, drive themselves, get a legit approved ID, and then they vote. .

There are however 17 States enacting new voting laws and restrictive voting rights laws at this time. People in Georgia can now be charged with a crime for handing out water or snacks to voters waiting in line at the polls. In Iowa and Kansas, people could face criminal charges for returning ballots on behalf of voters who may need assistance, such as voters with disabilities. And in Texas, election officials could face criminal prosecution if they encourage voters to request mail ballots or regulate poll watchers’ conduct.
