The 2nd Rule of Liberalism: "Our rules apply to others, not ourselves".
Sanders is also not giving them free healthcare,
Other Dems better pony up fast. These staffers are liberal also, and thus feel entitled to this money.

to the other side of this trade. If the employer couldn't find people willing to take $7.25/hr job, the employer either raise the pay or close its business.
R A C I S M ! ! !
I am mocking the libs over recent events obviously, but many libs have no sense of sarcasm and tend to take things quite literally (remember when Trump joked in a speech about Hillary's missing 30,000 emails that if he knew where they were, maybe he could help out....and they took it literally? So, i guess it's best to help them along when sarcasm is used.
Hey libs, Eli is no racist, but I expect you will play the card anyways.
...is that there are many small businesses with minimal profit margins. They cannot pay such a wage. Also, the min wage number has to not always assume NY or DC or LA. In more rural areas, the wages are lower, the cost of living is lower, and the ability for a small business to make money is less. A $15/hr base wage is unteneble to them.
Your lack of business understanding is exactly why you guys had such a sucky economy under Obama. Nurture the small businesses, and they will nurture their employees.
Right now in my small town, the Trump economy is so strong that small businesses are offering more voluntarily just to get and keep good workers.
Trickle down works.
Now, why are you ok with Bernie treating his employees differently from the way he expects others businesses not his own to treat them? Afterall, I am not running around saying that only $15/hr is humane like Sanders is.
Must have gone to that stock buy-back.
if they can. They generally make decisions that are best for their business. And that includes their employees.

Some jobs were never meant to provide a “living wage”
If I were still working at a fast food place for a bit over $1 an hour like I did my entire senior year in High School to make spending money, would I now be worth $15 an hour or even $7.25 an hour for doing the same job? No.
I’m generally opposed to Federally mandated wages since the value of money (purchasing power) varies so greatly from place to place. But if it has to exist, I would say $10.85, which is the inflation adjusted highest minimum wage in history (in 1968) would be more logical than $15.

Time to hang up your spurs, Bern.
