Unfortunately, a large chunk of those who believe this are happy with the possibility. Add that to the 48% who don't believe it and you have the makings of a landslide.

He's neither, possibly or even probably a racist - he is in fact, a racist. Those who support him are either that themselves or just plain ole stupid; I'm betting on both.
It boggles the mind to see so many dismiss his bigotry and slander as some sort of tactic to get things done or a strategy to move an agenda benefiting this country. He's an "us vs them" guy - if you don't look like him, you are "Them" and "Them" don't belong to his world view - and while we're at it, for him "Them" is you because you do not benefit him other than you might stay at one of the hotel's he has his name on.

successful. Them is why we (us) don't have the things we want. ...
In Germany for the head of State it was the Jews, in Turkey it was the Armenians and in the US it has become non-whites. Where do you think this would end if not for, free press, free speech and so on?
Siding with racism as an argument politicians can be unthinking is not acceptable. It makes you the racist.

I guess that is your idea of being woke.
unemployment into jobs with rising wages (see Lehigh's post yesterday), and doing it in record numbers.
He is a total failure at being a racist.

Their employment had been improving for years. He was unable to stop it.

Expansion
“Hispanic women have emerged as the biggest job market winners in an economy that has now grown for 121 straight months, assuming data released in coming months confirms continued growth. Employment rates for Hispanic women between 25 and 54, prime working years, have jumped by 2.2 percentage points since mid-2007, the eve of the Great Recession. That’s the most of any prime-age working group. Black women came in second, adding 1.6 percentage points.”
Why are minority women benefiting the most under Trump if he's a racist?
They are just outsmarting him.
OK - I'll stop making the point that way. Let's start with a couple of facts: One can be racist, and still help or want to help people of other races. Moreover, even if the president was so racist that he didn't want black people to get jobs, the president has little or no control who gets hired.
Believe what you will about whether he is racist or not, the point is that the employment numbers do not tell us anything about his racism (or lack thereof).

and criminals to open his campaign, nah not racist, calling places like Hati shithole countries while proposing more immigrants from Norway, nah not racist. You’re right he’s completely not racist.
You do also know that any overtly racist policy will be struck down or enjoined by the Court? Why he had to modify his original Muslim ban.
shithole and is filled with disease and the Mexican rapist comment was directed towards MS13 and cartels engaged in human trafficking, but we, of course, should welcome them with open arms because they are just looking for political asylum.
Originally, his proposal was a total ban. MS 13 is not a Mexican group by the way. I know, they all look and sound the same, but they are from Central America, not Mexico. He wasn’t talking about them. Haiti may be a shithole but that isn’t a reason not to take people from there. Ireland was the shithole of Europe in the 1800’s. Thousands died of starvation. The trumps of that time wanted to keep them out also. There was actually a national political party appropriately named the know nothings that advocated just that.

answer the question.
We were talking about whether increase minority employment during Trump's presidency is proof that he is not racist.
WestCoastIrishFan wants to change the subject to Trump's policies. That's fine, but certainly not germain as to the topic I was discussing.
