So the real issue is how much has modern man over the last 150 years contributed to increased natural climate change, correct? Can we also consider the benefits to global progress in terms of quality of life for modern man over the last 150 due to the development of fossil fuels. To wean the US off fossil fuels would bankrupt the country. Which doesn’t mean we should not invest in cleaner energies. But if you believe that the world won’t be using fossil fuels to supply nearly 80% of required energy by 2100 you are living in a dream state.

(Or, I can call the state of the atmosphere in every year/day/hour climate). My point is at time scale of 100 years, i.e. from 1900 to present, it is still weather change, not climate change.
We can start from a couple of simple weather processes/cycles.
One day cycle: It's weather change.
No need to say more. everybody know this cycle, I.e. why there is temperature change from morning to night
One year cycle: it's weather change
no need to say more either. We all know this cycle too, i.e. why we have hot summer, cool fall, cold winter and warm spring.
Two year cycle: ENSO. It's weather change
The is the cycle of El Nino and La Nina episodes. Typical period is 1-4 years. most last about 2 years.
The 11-year sunspot cycle: its influence on earth is weather change.
Actually it is a 22-year cycle. But I just take the half that affects weather of the earth.
Gigantic volcano eruptions of about every 25 years:
The dust of this kind of volcano eruptions can increase the reflection of sun rays and therefore cool the Earth by as much as 0.5 °C. It's still weather change.
30 years: Pacific Decadal Oscillation (PDO).It's El Niño-like cycle in a slower pace and last much longer. Again, It's weather change.
500 year Carbon Cycle: this is the cycle that the land and oceans take up the extra carbon dioxide which will somehow change temperature of earth at 100 year time scale, which I still call it weather change.
If add up all these cycles (I also believe there are unknown cycles that we haven't discovered yet), clearly weather changes can last to 100 years, at least.

I think that Yang guy might go for it. Fuck ties!
In the meantime, I sure hope you mouth-breathers are right, and every scientist is wrong. But I have my doubts.
