Hate crimes have risen dramatically since 2016, and off the charts in counties where Trump held political rallies.
Trump’s remarks and tweets just since 2016 celebrate the disparaging of immigrants and people of color.
Again, who we vote for is a reflection of ourselves.
If you vote for someone who runs on fear and hate, then that is the America you deserve, when the fear and hate candidate wins.

It’s not just Orange, although he is clearly the worst practitioner of it by a country mile starting with his announcement speech.

Certainly, the causes of these horrific events are multifactorial. But the single greatest contributor that all sides can agree to address is re-establishment of psychiatric medicine in the US. Yet, it seems to be the least likely thing to be addressed because it carries no useful political weight for the partisans.
Put them all on a watch list.
I also have yet to see anything suggesting that Bernie was the catalyst in Dayton like the El Paso shooter was clearly motivated by anti immigrant bias.
Nonetheless, to the extent you are suggesting both sides need to tone it down, I fully agree. The Scalise shooter was clearly ideologically motivated.
Finally, none of this in any way is relevant to the fact that Orange is the worst practitioner of this hate and divide politics.
