At the time, many were justifiably critical of Snowden not using the whistleblower route.
This Trump whistleblower relied in good faith on the safety and confidentiality provided by US law, as did the Inspector General. Given the manner in which the GOP is suffocating this complaint, why shouldn’t any future whistleblower feel forced to take the Snowden path?

Because that's what he did.
Good to know.
Whistleblowers in gov't should check in with you first before they tell dirty little secrets to the American public. This way they can know
if they will be hated or celebrated in advance.
...and be greeted on the tarmac by federal marshals who take him off to prison for the rest of his miserable life.
He’s not a whistle blower.
Do we know his name yet?...the "whistleblower"? I wonder what other accusations can be hurled at Trump regarding conversations with other countries. Maybe their goal is to get him to start releasing transcripts of all private conversations to prove his side.
chain.
You also have no idea who the person is or their motives.

Even your pal Flynn thinks he has cost American lives or at least he did.

We know now that the IC was violating US law. If he had filed an IG complaint, it would have gone nowhere (not even to Congress).
Then again being an Orange supporter prolly gives a different perspective on such things.
Me, I’m glad we have people looking out for us even if there are abuses. I guess 9/11 left me with that.
But, that comment is funny coming from you, a person who pushes the Russia Collusion Conspiracy Theory which only benefits Putin.

It’s disgusting to try to excuse him based on noble motive. Fuck him. I hope a contractor puts a bullet right into his skull which is actually too good for him.
If he did anything other than that, then I condemn it, and I hope he is punished.
He did much more than that.
What other stuff did he do? Maybe you should know a few of those things before posting about them.

The whistleblower’s identity is protected by US law.
His complaint should have already been received by Congress.

That's why the rule of law nonsense coming out of conor's mouth is funny.
Let us know when you want to acknowledge the rule of law re the whistleblower statute.

I'm willing to put Snowden in jail. Are you willing to support the rule of law like me? Of course not. You are a hypocrite.
Now, talk some more smack re immigration enforcement.

Who do you think is guilty of that law, by the way? I asked before, but perhaps you didn't see my question, because you didn't answer.

We don’t know what the complaint says. By law, we are supposed to be privy to it.
But, assuming the process works consistent with the statute, and assuming Trump pushed a foreign leader to investigate/prosecute Biden, then yes, that is an offense that would justify impeachment. Even worse if Trump tired to squeeze Ukraine with Congressional approved military aid.
Of course, I know you will try to prove Hibakusha correct by pushing impeachment in the absence of violations. That goes without saying. You don't like our democratic republican form of government when you lose. We all get that.
