Even Dems and Libs on this Board will appreciate it.

It's about the Anchor Glass Company, HQ-ed in Lancaster, Ohio. It was bought and sold several times by hedge funds in LBOs. The author does a very good job of explaining the effects on the town. It's the same theme as Carlson's report, except much more in depth.

It's an interesting take. Singer / Venture Capital are easy targets and I think Tucker oversimplifies this scenario. It's tough to know whether Cabela's could have survived on its own. The company's leadership at least deserves a similar amount of blame for a) allowing the company to become a takeover target and b) agreeing to be taken over.
Having lived in Denver, I once make the trek - some called it a pilgrimage - to Sydney to visit Cabela's. This was before there were Cabela's / Bass Pro shops in every town. The store was simply incredible. It's terrible to see what has happened to Sydney.
Sasse and other state political leaders should have done more.
he can hear himself speak next. Like Obama, he changes the tone and style of his rethoric depending
upon the group he is speaking with. Big bull shitter
Just for example, Hannity is pure GOP/Trump no matter what. Carlson, on the other hand, deviates from the major party lines all the time. He seeks out liberals who agree with him on certain populist issues and certain libertarian issues and brings them on his show all the time. He is about all kinds of freedoms (just not the newly defined "freedoms" to silence other and compel positive acts from others) and he does go after inequality which is not necessarily a conservative issue. His segments sometimes make me rethink issues, which is more than I can say for many TV talking heads. The segment Cole is referencing is anti-corporation, and anti-Republican swamp rat. It's not a conservative vs. liberal segment.
Having said that, Carlson is not perfect. Sometimes he annoys the hell out of me. Usually he can admit he is wrong, but sometimes he can't, and he starts that laugh of his.
But, all in all, a relatively good political analysis show, given the alternatives.

He got something right doesn't make him bipartisan or neutral.
by ignoring voices and opinions from the “other side”. You’re better off taking in information from all sides and using a common sense filter to process it.

I actually enjoyed watching him on Crossfire years ago. I haven't really watched since then. The only time I see him is when he makes the news for saying something outlandish.
Senator Warren has talked about this type of capitalism for a long time; regulating and criminalizing it. Sounds to me like you’re voting for Warren.
Also, I think you opposed Hillary's entrenchment with Wall St., another feather in your cap.

standard Democratic junk in order to win the nomination. If you could talk to her honestly, she would have more interesting things to say, especially how she bemoans poor parents not being able to move to communities with good schools, and therefore locking their children into a generation of failure as a result.
