If you are going to bring is law scholars for a nationally televised disgrace, at least bring in some that are not blatantly partisan. Do a little background checking to insure you can't find partisan tweets about the guy you are coming to bring a argument against. Seriously. I mean you bring one in that can't even contain herself from taking a cheap shot involving the President's kid. And, if it wasn't bad enough already, the non-apology apology just stoked the fire. Any rationale person can see through the crap that is going on.
non Kool Aid drinkers.
You are of course, 100% correct.
83 year old democrat voter.
"Well, I knew you weren't voting for me, man, you think I thought you'd stand up and vote for me? You're too old to vote for me."
You can't make this stuff up.

Therefore, they conclude that they just haven’t “packaged” the message in the right way.
Immediately after the election I actually had hope that the Dems would do some self reflection and move in a rational direction. Unfortunately that didn’t happen. They have actually doubled down and gotten worse. It’s sad because I would appreciate having a viable alternative to the Republicans. That happens on the local level, but at the Federal level they have driven themselves off a cliff.
There are only 2 reasons to do all this: (1) they think they will lose the election, or (2) they are worried about RBG's premature (before Trump leaves office) demise.
But, your point remains: they are doing it poorly, whatever their motivation.
The fact that that Stanford professor said what she said indicates that she lives in a bubble. She has probably said things like that for years, and gotten laughs and pats on the back for saying it. She's smart, and yet she probably does not understand why anyone would criticize her for using a kid to make her political point. After all, everyone she knows is good with doing that...Barron is not a normal kid, he is a Trump kid, in her eyes, so he is a legitimate target.
Can you imagine her in front of a jury? "Now, I know you are all stupid, and probably racists, so I will try to make this simple for you..." She's smart, but not smart enough to know you shouldn't do things like that. Just wow.

Americans who voted for Trump racists or "at best looking the other way on racism" in a radio show the other day.
I wonder if that is a good campaign strategy to follow the Hillary deplorable lead and insult everyone on the other side.
